Seriously, if you watch 4 matches a month, then each match cost around $7 (singtel) am i right? if under SH , i think was mor than $10?

 

Worth it or not its up to individual.

singtel needed the EPL to stay afloat..

 

if after all these years singtel no EPL and CL=nobody will subscribe

 

singtel's mobile business is lucrative. it doesn't need the cable tv business. it just wanted to introduce its mio tv and have a slice of the pie. pls la, starhub alr in cable tv business for how long alr? singtel just die die want to compete in this area and its programs sucks big time and hence no choice but to use BPL and champs league to stay afloat. In the first place, they shouldn't go into the cable tv business which is not their forte. They have now gone on to upset everyone and become the public enemy.

I not quite agree with you.

 

SH package is a rip off. Used to pay 50 bucks for watching epl but now 27 through mio.

 

SH package deal is rubbish...watch football must pay for other programs you don't need [rifle]

 

i used to pay only $15 for the sports package until Singtel comes along. F**k singtel.

U can always buy ramli burger or buy those frozen ones from the supermarket. Can cook whenever u feel like having it.

i used to pay only $15 for the sports package until Singtel comes along. F**k singtel.

 

last time a bowl of noodles cost $2. now what can you get for $2. cost of living is going up and this is a fact. you going to blame who? singtel?

The analogy cannot be use here.. why... yes, cost of living going up.... but for this simi lj EPL.... we are one of the country that are paying through our arse just because we can afford... what kind of farking logic is that..... take World Cup for example.... we are one fo the country that pay sky high price for the telecast right because people like ST pay sky high price for it... while other country pay peanut or got it for free...... if dont blame ST blame who?? [laugh]

 

Of course also blame those hardcore soccer fan... despite paying through their arse... still pay... although cum MCF kpkb.... [rolleyes][laugh]

I think they have to share the broadcast right with Starhub rite....IDA have issued a rule that the next round of BPL telecast have to be shared by Red and the Green camps... No?

That's for exculsive deals........the new one is non-exclusive, so it's up to StarHub if they want to bid for it.... -_-

your analogy is damn lousy. Ask yourself what is the magnitude of the jump. In the years before 2008, sports group was only $8. In 2008, it jump suddenly to $15. Ask yourself what is the % of increase. Soon after that, singtel spoilt the mkt by paying double what starhub did which caused the cost of sportsgroup to go up to $25. So you think this sort of increase is by way of a normal inflation?? Either you are really dumb or just trying to stir up something.

that is why I decided to boycott since singtel bidded at 400million some years back. it was this ridiculous bid which also caused FIFA to hold us to ransom for WC 2012
