There used to be a wine disti at around leng kee that I read a few bros here says sells wines inexpensively. I passed by but saw that it has been taken over by an Aston Martin dealership or something? Any one knows what's that wine dealer name and where they might have moved to? Would like to buy some wines.

Thanks!

Actually don't bother. Go giant or something can get some pretty decent wine for abt 20 bucks...

How much is inexpensive? It varies from person to person.

Anyway, it's Oct now.....most big supermrkts having offers to clear shelf space for annual Nov arrivals.

How do Giant make money ? Tax for wine per bottle is already about $ 7.30 unless they have a special license

and super cheap delivery from the wine yards.

In Australia a bottle of red wine only cost Aud$3, so the price you quote is reasonable with shipping, tax and volume. They would be willing to export and sell to the supermarket at cheaper price.

It's a matter of personal taste and preference. My BIL likes to rave abt his storage of French wines which I seriously don't fancy at all <_<

becos he likes his light to medium.

My preference for full bodied wines was marked down by him as 'Chinese herbal medicine' !:D

Speaking of wine. Any idea what were some of carrefour's suppliers ? Trying to find some wine used to get from carrefour like the German Riesling and Alsace muscat and pinot gris ?

German Riesling is pretty commonly sold in most wine retail shops. try the one at the basement of parkway

Neutral Newbie

Chateau Le Pin or Valandraud? [wave]

One of the best Chardonnay's I have ever drunk was one from.. Austria. Forgot the brand. But it was sweet, mellow, and slightly tart. Still can't forget about it

ask you all...once you open the bottle to drink, how long more can it be kept?

u can buy a vacumm, hand pump thingy to pump the air out of the bottle and "reseal" it.

i wont leave it more than 3 days though
