Tayspiderx 3rd Gear October 18, 2012 Share October 18, 2012 New diesel tax should be still more than equivalent petrol but not far off. E.g 2.3k for petrol , believe similar 3 litre diesel should be more or less ard 3k ↡ Advertisement
13177 Hypersonic October 19, 2012 Share October 19, 2012 if can afford go for discovery, fortuner not a good choice Discovery and fortuner cannot really compare, price, performance and built of the car quite a big difference.
Detach8 5th Gear October 19, 2012 Share October 19, 2012 Haven't driven the disco but did drive the freelander which was actually something very different for me (never driven big SUV before). I was giving it a serious thought but decided to go for another car as the insurance + 3.2l road tax will kill me.
VellfireS 4th Gear October 19, 2012 Share October 19, 2012 I am looking for a 7 seater SUV. Now my choices have come to the volvo XC90 and the Discovery. I have test drove the volvo but not the discovery..been busy. I would to hear some comments and reviews for the disco. Anyone? The new diesel tax next year is much better than the current one Touareg or Prado..

EmmLee Neutral Newbie October 13, 2021 Share October 13, 2021 Hi, I have a discovery registered 2017, it’s running on diesel. After i’ve reached the 60K mark i’ve been visiting the service centre, this will be my third at 65K. Wondering if anyone has a similar issue. I’ve followed the ‘rules’ driving frequently at 60-80km for 15 mins and have not left the car idling for long periods. ↡ Advertisement
