Axela525 4th Gear April 22, 2013 Share April 22, 2013 Taz, thanks for the heads-up bro. finally, I bought ITB-100HD SP and power magic pro (there's on/off switch). I think this may be quite handy for those who don't want to record during parking mode when necessary. here's a sample video quality of ITB-100HD SP found on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GqOhjCqRDbc...e9dd6f.jpg.html http://s1357.photobucket.com/user/n4rds/me...797338.jpg.html Nice where is the link? thks! N4rds Neutral Newbie April 22, 2013 Share April 22, 2013 Where did you bought it from? here's where I bought it from... http://apple-ct.com/shop/category.php?id_category=8 the price is quite steep tho but I just give it a go to explore on this new product. I would like to thank those who pointed out to the right direction after reading 44 pages from this thread. you'll be surprised that I ordered last Friday and it arrived this afternoon. @GemLeo - the cut off voltages for magic pro are 11.8v, 12v, 22.8v and 23.2v. the voltage adjustment has to be done on the dip switches
N4rds Neutral Newbie April 22, 2013 Share April 22, 2013 Anybody knows whether the ITB-100HD's bracket can be used for the SP version? Thinking of upgrading but don't wish to take down the bracket as it's already been held tight by tape. I think the physical size of both ITB-100 and SP are identical. maybe you may use the bracket for the new SP model. SP has some enhancements over ITB-100: 1. records 1080p at 30f/s instead of 24f/s 2. boot-up time is reduced to approximately 15 seconds instead of 30 seconds 3. voice capability that will verbally inform the driver on any major status changes 4. white LED light in the front of the camera (not really necessary or an improvement) 5. reminder to format the video card twice a week above info extracted from dashcamtalk board. go here for more details... http://dashcamtalk.com/itronics-itb-100hd-sp/ here's a pix of the SP bracket unit so that you may have a rough idea. hope this helps... Jokerd 2nd Gear April 22, 2013 Share April 22, 2013 hi bro, what are the cut off voltages for this magic pro? thanks You can set the cutoff voltage if I'm not wrong. That's what the switches on the right side are for. As for what to set, depends on how much power you car needs to start up.
GemLeo 1st Gear April 22, 2013 Share April 22, 2013 thanks bro. what i meant is the voltages that are available to set. thought itv 80 has more settings.. that's why i asked. think i read somewhere it's better to set it at 12v.. and not lower than that.. i'll have to search for it again. N4rds Neutral Newbie April 23, 2013 Share April 23, 2013 recommended setting is at 11.8v but it is a matter of personal preference. on a side note, the power magic pro plus has 2 multi-boot buttons. no need to purchase additional power cable if users intend to setup 2 cameras (front and rear), it's just my thought tho. hope this info helps from a happy user lol

I'm keen to purchase one but was wondering if the dashcam settings and software has options to switch to English text (or is it English by default)? If it reaches 11.8V, it may not be sufficient to start the engine. Even if it is able to start at this voltage, you probably will not charge it immediately after the cutoff. This means that the voltage may drop even lower after a few hours and you will have problem starting.
Taz 1st Gear April 23, 2013 Share April 23, 2013 Hi Bro, Thanks for sharing. I'm keen to purchase one but was wondering if the dashcam settings and software has options to switch to English text (or is it English by default)? Just want to find out if it's user-friendly for English-speaking users. Heard that the newer version of the software is still in Korean. If you stick to version 1.00 (if i remember correctly), it is in English. Anyway, it's interesting to know that some ang mos (at dashcamtalk) actually attempted to translate the labels/captions in the korean version. Not sure what's the differences between the versions. Just want to find out if it's user-friendly for English-speaking users. when I received SP unit, the user manual is in Korean (pdf softcopy) located in SD card and PC Player software v1.32. the power magic pro manual is in Korean but English version is available on the web for download. to get a basic idea of SP, I just grab an English version manual for ITB-100HD on the web. so no problem for me tho, just need the basics will suffice. btw, I've just sent a message to the Apple-CT if there's an English manual for SP. fyi, I haven't installed the unit into my car yet, lol. planning to install it during this weekend. here's a snapshot of default setting in PC Player... Helloz Neutral Newbie April 23, 2013 Share April 23, 2013 Thanks, good to know the setting menu (onthe PC player) is in English! Keep us updated if there's an English manual for SP. Good luck with the installation :)

It's just the Itb100 English software. See the Max fps only at 24fps, the original Korean Itb100 sp software comes with 30 fps. You can't save any settings to Itb100 sp with the Itb100 English software. So take note of the default time zone settings in Korea. It's just like trying to update your windows 8 platform with windows xp patches. There is no English firmware or software, voice prompt also in Korean because the itronics Itb100 sp is not CCE CERTIFIED by itronics Korea yet for export out of Korea. :) Edited April 23, 2013 by Shochong
N4rds Neutral Newbie April 23, 2013 Share April 23, 2013 lol no worries for me if it is 24 or 30fps displayed on the software. my key point here is to explore on this new product. it's just a matter of time they will release a firmware update. SP by default, speed is in km/h but there's a coder who managed to hack it to mph. CCE CERTIFIED or NOT I dun care. some time ago, SLS selling lots of p****ed software and I bought them. so stay away if u think this isn't for you. hahah some business people are weird lol
N4rds Neutral Newbie April 23, 2013 Share April 23, 2013 rofl the software definitely has the 30fps muahahaha and u think the software developer is stupid. wanna see I post it muahahaha. I got my hands on and I say there is a 30fps. that is the default setting lol. different thinking kid and dun take it seriously lol
