ITB100HD feedback

The sign will be my ITB100HD. I set it at 11.8V. If one fine morning, my cam is cut off. Then it is time for me to change my battery.

found out the following, hope any of you can assist.

 

I noticed some missing video clips. Using "file explorer" or/and "pc player", I cannot find any video files at all. i.e. I see a video of driving at 5pm. then the next video I can find is at 5.20pm. Have tried sorting out files by date. Still nothing. This probably means the cam isnt recording.

 

I've checked the box to "off" display speed. But the speed is still indicated on video playback.

Are u using 8GB?

Some of the files may have been overwrite.

yes 8gb at the moment.

I figured it could be becuase of the ratio settings..

 

however, even if it's overwriting, won't it be a long list of videos in sequence? i.e. videos of driving from 3pm to 6pm.. yet but no videos from 5pm to 5.20pm

 

any bros encounter this?

so may I know is ITV80 just a device to cut off the power when the set voltage is reached or it's also a backup battery???

seems like cam is faulty, time to send in to change or if warranty over, time to buy new one

thanks bro, that means if I want to use the cam for parking surveillance I'll have to either connect it to the car batt or self-rigged a spare power supply then.......

Yup..get from wow gadgets...120...as long as input to dvr is 12V can use.

Yes, though the output from the T-powerC is suitable for ITB-100, is the head suitable, ie do u need any modification to fit into the power cable form ITB-100HD to T-powerc jack?

 

I want to use T-powerc, but it seems that it is designed for Blackvue.

in my opinion get the ITV-80 you wont go wrong with this. ITV-80 is for 100HD and 100HDSP. dont go use something that is not meant for the DVR.

Unfortunately I cannot afford to have the camcorder takes power from the fuse box as my car gizmos takes a lot of power from the car battery. Apart from that, I don't wanted AD to give any stupid reasons to void any warranty if there's anythg wrong with any electrical component.

if thats the case dont put your ITB-100HD into parking survelliance mode since warranty is a issue to you. Might as well use it on cigar socket drive and record for you.
