Can.. U can connect the switch to off the power to the powermagic.

I think the guy put the switch between the car battery and the power magic. So, when I off the switch, the power magic also cut off. When i leave my car for a while and off the engine, the switch is on, the powermagic got light and the car cam still running (FYI, I using China brand car cam now not yet change to the SP model [:p] ).

Haven't got to the stage where the switch is on and the powermagic cut off to save car batt current.

Bro can recommend any installer for the switch for cut off power once the switch is off? What is the cost too?

U can try the non-sp version.., base on the review here, I bought the non sp version which suited my needs haha!

Turbocharged

You mean the above can't be disabled in the software setup ?

For the light, i already covered with stickers. left only very minimal light (maybe 3-5%.)

For the voice thingy (all in korean),

a) when i OFF the engine, 2-3mins later, there will be a annnouncement.

b) when i turn ON the engine, immediately another announcement. After driving for 2-3mins, another announcement, saying something like "GPS"

I did it at car beauty in Eunos.. the one recommended by the authorised ITB-100 dealer here.. 30 bucks.

I'll still take the SP version ba... see if the $ will drop or not.. hee hee.. ^_^

Do you need a switch? Because my understanding is that in parking mode, it does not record continuously at all and only upon (1) Shock or (2) Shock/Motion sensing; which can be set via the application.

And if u use ITV-80, u cannot set parking mode recording to more than 48 hours even if u want to.

For the ITB-SP set, the GPS system very slow.

I parked at MSCP (2nd level). After driving for 6-7mins, then they can detect the location/speed.

When i view the ITB-HD set, i do not have this problem. Within 1-2min after getting out of the MSCP, it detected the location/speed.

For me is rather to prevent excess draining of battery and also to prevent wear and tear on the power cable.

Coz for me when I wana view the sd card I will also remove the power cable to extract the card.

When you embed you need to put the "random id" after pressing the embed video button.

Like pasting this "jfeE4rGzvA"

Luckily he wasn't going up halfway if not.... [sweatdrop]

hi bro,

I've checked. it's not exactly on the Settings (which is the camera setup) but it's the option during video playback?

Tried it.. can adjust the brightness and contrast of video.

realised maybe I need to adjust the camera nearer to the windscreen. my windscreen is dirty and with lotsa minor chips too.. prolly affected the overall sharpness of the videos.

It's a car cam, don't expect it to be DSLR quality. Furthermore, without sunlight, the video will look a bit more fuzzy because the shutter speed is slower. [;)]

As long as before the car hit you can see his number plate very clearly good enough la. :D
