Hi guys have 2 questions. Hope u guys can help.

 

1. If I want my itb100hd (without power magic pro) at the rear only to operate when I drive and wont be using its parking mode, how do I get it hardwired?

2. If I want my itb100hd (with power magic pro) in front to operate when I drive as well as when I park at night, how should I hardwired both the camera & magic pro to the car? (To fuse? Battery? Or other means?) Sorry noob in these stuffs.

jus to share, for ur device to speak english, u can go d/l the firmware..

 

itb-100hd/sp firmware

 

simple steps:

 

1) d/l the firmware onto ur com

2) unzip it n copy to the root directory of ur SD card

3) insert the SD card into ur device

4) will have abt 5 beeps n the upload of firmware is completed

5) female english voice!

 

 

pls note tat the firmware is not from the manufacturer so use at ur own risk..

It didn't work too well for me.

 

In the old korean F/W, changing SD card was a breeze.

After installing the "English" f/w, I couldn't change SD card and prompted me with "Error message"

so I took the 2nd SD card and installed the new Eng f/w, all went well for 2 days and it suddenly

prompted me "Error message" again. Swapped back to old SD card and it was working again.

*** Both SD card was extremely hot by the way *** on the old f/w, there was barely any heat issue

and the volume is SOOO SOFT, I can barely hear what it is saying.

 

Switching back to old Korean 1.2fw

Hi there, I need help from bros here who are experts at ITB 100. I bought two ITB 100 from Xavier in feb. Of late, my backview ITB 100 camera isn't working properly and strangely only starts recording in dark places like tunnels or underground carparks. On the road in day light it doesn't record. I tried changing sd cards and change the mode to disable parking mode but still it doesn't record. Any advice from bros here?

Hi all,

 

I think my Power Magic is damaged. The LED does not light on but when I connect the ITB 100SP to the lighter socket (I have a spare power cable), the car cam works.

 

1. Does any bro have similar experience with their power magic unit? If yes, did you get it repaired or did you replace with another power saver unit?

 

2. Any one else with similar symptom but root cause was found to be something else (wiring works faulty?)

i used ITB-100HD for the front and it has a GPS system while the rear I used ITB-200. i decided on ITB after revising Dashcam website. Both images are excellent and got no complaints. Hope future system will even be better particularly for night images and equipped with increased memory capacity beyond 32 MB to provide longer image life before being overwritten.

I also increased my upsized my car battery by 50% and after the changes as the video do sap the battery especially overnight. The changes improved the starting situation dramatically.

check your wiring , could be loose and disconnected hence the PM doesnt work. this is the most common problem where installation didnt do properly.

After 1.5 years of installation still going strong. Took out the sd card to check after 1 year not touching it and still it records clearly.

Till today still don't know where goes wrong.

What I did was every few day, took out and reformat.

my new ITB 100SPW gets v hot when after while when idle or car moving & the white front LED blinks v fast nonstop. Is this normal?
