Wow i didn't know a country is self sufficient in oil and has resources like Oil, natural gas, gravel, sand, limestone, chalk, clay and salt which can be found in the Danish underground. You mixed up Norway with Denmark.

 

Denmark imports oil.

 

The value of Denmark's oil imports were 6.15Bn in 2009 and 9.10bn in 2010.

 

It's pretty common knowledge to know it is Norway that is oil rich, not Denmark.

You have mixed up being "have some resources" or

 

"more resources compared to Singapore" as being "resource-rich".

To be self sufficient in oil or export some oil doesn't mean that country is resource rich,

 

the value of exports minus cost of production must exceed 5% of the nation's GDP,

 

for the nation to be considered resource rich.

Nope, location is more important than whoever is more than in charge.
