Fake education cert is a serious offence in Singapore.

I remember a case where a promary school teacher was sent to jail because of a fake qualification, although it was said that she did a good job.

 

In your question, the current S-pass would be invalid immediately, no need to wait for expiry.

relative's worker got discovered by MOM to have fake cert and got rejected s-pass renewal by MOM, but the worker did a good job during his tenure and they want to retain him, anyway the job doesn't need to have any tertiary qualification so they don't mind that his cert are fake. my relative probably already suspect his cert are fake when they first employ him just that they close one eye i guess.

so is there any way to help the worker to still work in here or die die sure get send back home by MOM and cannot enter singapore again?

He is dishonest in the first place and ur relative still wan him?.somemore make use of fake cert to get s pass..

So ur relative already knw is fake still pay him accordingly to his cert?

the only thing you can do is appeal to MOM and hope the MOM officer in charge of the case is in a brave and good mood....

First of all, fake cert will get the worker in jail or fine, it is not so simple as S-pass rejection.

 

If your relative really want to keep the worker, can upgrade to Q1 EP as it is not counted in foreign worker quota.

 

MOM has reduced the quota as of Jul this year, many co will have renewal problem.

I knew an employer who had a s-pass worker with fake cert. Caught by MoM and the worker went to jail. Not only that MoM blacklist the fellow, he cannot work in sgp anymore. That was almost 10yrs ago.

If MOM found a worker fake his/her education cert, this worker will be asked to send back immediately and his/her work pass will be cancel. Should be blacklisted by MOM and cannot come back here to work, but who knows this people can easily get another identity and come back again.

then they need more manpower to do the screening, indirectly they creat more job opportunities by employing more screeners!!
