Samsung's new home robots can clean the house and pour you a glass of wine

Bot Handy, a nifty robot with a clamp arm that’s design to be super handy around the house. It uses AI to recognise and pick up objects of different sizes, shapes and weights, and it can tell the difference between the material composition of various objects. This allows the Bot Handy to calculate the right amount of force to grab and move household items and objects. It can help do things like clean up messy rooms, load dishes into the dishwasher, or even pour you a glass of water or wine.

Twincharged

@Discoburg just ordered a xiaomi s20 on thursday night on shopee and it got delivered this morning. usual $229, after coupons $188.

plugged it in to charge and then when its fully charged (about an hour), paired it with the xiaomi home app(using for my cctv) and then let it do the initial mapping.

took about 9 mins to map my 4 rm bto.  i have setup a virtual wall for my service yard as the device cannot climb the drop between the kitchen and the yard - it went in but cannot climb back up. the drop is about 2 cm.

after it finished the mapping, it went back to the charger to recharge. however, i saw the battery meter was still fll so decided to let it start working immediately.

it then went around the whole house in 58 mins before returning to the charging station.

overall quite good and simple to setup and run.

you can consider this.
