Maybe it's just me, but I find that some movies should just be watched in normal mode. Of course if it's those (you know lah), HD the best LOL! THX i think for cinema my place also about 10ft, 42"recommend max viewing distance is 15+ft -Maximum and Recommended THX viewing distances: THX also publishes standards for movie theaters to adhere to for THX certification. THX requires that the back row of seats in a theater have at least a 26 degree viewing angle and recommends a 36 degree viewing angle.
