Ok what....$5K salary still better than many people u know....but $10K savings times 87 MPs = $870000 monthly and $10.44 million yearly. Our coffers would have more surplus

what's 10M? to be honest, just cut the minister pay la.

That's why I say....cut from $15k to $5k per person per month, u do the math in savings per year....

when i'm back for ICT last year, my uniform (still the old camo green, not the pixel type) is older than the NS clerk who in-pro me.

My dad was the first few ns batch

Train under an Israeli arty officer

He never regret once even though his hearing was affected

He always talked about his ns experience with pride

When I reported to Cmpb, I Kena pes c

He say I ah gua peng

He was clearly displeased

 

My dad too was trained under Israeli as a combat engineer , had back aches when he was older and never said much too . When I went to CDOs he didn't say much either. Only the parents worry this worry that. Will die means will die la.

 

To him , he just said it is our duty to serve , pride is another thing all together . At least our ministers recognized he didn't serve Ns. I don't see it as a big deal . That said recognition of the national servicemen is still somewhat lacking . We need to have improve on this.

ya...my kaykiang n be hero...i told my son that as most probably he will be doing his ns nx yr. Just finish his coming 2 yrs duty n thats it. I have colleagues who always wanna act like one of the guys...but when they talked about army u know they are lying. Most probably PR first generation....!
