I'm using previously but found it is still not so bright as what it claim. Now I change to LED and it's much better then ever.

Yes it's under warranty. Highlight to SC during servicing and they will order for you and change it at next Service

Thanks! I don't want to flout any LTA rules and that's why I didn't go for the LED route. Further most of the LEDs are not designed for this Reflector / Projector housing throwing the light everywhere (Probably one of the reason why they aren't allowed).

Yeap, sin ming one

coffee and biscuit :)

Using Night Breaker Unlimited, brighter than stock a bit, maybe 20% more. I heard Laser is better

Thanks! I heard that the Laser is using a combination of Xenon and Halogen gas and is visibly brighter. I'll try it out during my next drive to KL :)

Bro, Xenon and Halogen tech cannot be combined...

So I don't think this Laser model is combined...

Not true bro. The Night Breaker Unlimited itself is a mixture of 2 gases (Halogen and Xenon).

Further, upon further reading from Osram, the laser version is a pure Xenon filling but still called a Halogen making me even more confused.

The most powerful halogen light from OSRAM

Discover NIGHT BREAKER LASER - the brightest halogen automotive light from OSRAM! Thanks to an innovative laser ablation technology these headlight lamps shine up to 130% brighter than standard halogen lamps. The combination of highly engineered filament and pure xenon gas filling ensure an extra light output. Thus, the lamps provide an up to 40 meter longer light beam and up to 20% whiter light compared to standard halogen lamps. More light and improved visibility can help drivers identify and react to traffic hazards more quickly. And last but not least - NIGHT BREAKER LASER convinces with its unique design with laser-etched product name and silver cap. The ideal lamp for drivers who know the difference that powerful automotive lighting makes

Oh... mixture of xenon & halogen... usually xenon lights refer to HID which are totally different tech... sounds like Osram selling snake oil... they seem to be borrowing the term xenon... usually HID lights are filled with xenon gas... while halogen lights are filled with halogen gases... hence the general terms... Weird experience today. Parked my car in an open car park, locked my car (I'm sure I did because I walked my son out and ensured that the mirrors are folded to avoid him bumping into it) and went for dinner. When I came back the car was unlocked. Nothing was stolen or amiss. What would have caused the car to unlock itself?

Your model need to press the key on the key fob to lock the doors right? Maybe the mirrors folded but the doors didn't lock...

Weird, saw the indicator lights blink. Can't remember whether I heard the locking sound or not. I'll monitor this and keep you all posted.

If service 3rd party workshop which are the ones to recommend?

Been using harmony motors, alot of kia servicing there. Using original parts too. They will show customers the new original components before replacing and explain whatever procedures they are doing for a piece of mind haha I always stand by the side and watch

I top up to get F750....I think it all depends on the package offered by the SE and the freebies

When I came back the car was unlocked. Nothing was stolen or amiss. What would have caused the car to unlock itself?

I noted that even if car is locked with mirrors folded in, when later I approach the car, the mirrors will open up and blink as if 'welcoming' me even though I did not press the Unlock button on remote. At this point I still cannot open the doors cuz still in locked state. If I leave the car, later the mirrors fold back themselves.

Found myself forgot to lock car several times but never had anything stolen. Generally I think people don't go around testing if a parked car is unlocked by trying to open the doors, unless that person has real intention to steal things from car. In addition, many cars are now fitted with dash cams that detect motion during parked state so potential car thieves also need to think twice.

In your case, maybe due to the remote placed in pants/jeans pocket, the movement of the legs during walking and other items in same pocket may have accidentally pressed the Unlock button. The other explanation, though unlikely, is somehow there is another car whose remote operates at a frequency near to your remote such that its owner unlock his car but also unlock yours w/o knowing.

If what you experienced happen too often, should take to CnC have a look.
