Is it really no warranty? I tot have but just very troublesome must self pack and mail it back...

how to claim warranty for electronic appliances? normally distributors only give local warranty, not international.

hurom is cheaper online but I still brought from CK Tang as I do not want to risk getting a faculty unit overseas n cannot use and the trouble of sending back to KR and to Korean seller who cant even communicate in proper English. for warranty wise, even if can send back n get it fix, not worth la

recently also on news about someone brought a Joyoung soya maker and then it actually imitation, has safety issue. dunno what happened...short circuit I think.

however I did buy a set of Happy Call pots and pans from qoo10 and happy w the saving. at least its not glass or electronic, the risk is lower.

Certain things are alot cheaper that you can don't bother with the warranty. Those in-car cameras sold at petrol kiosks/supermarkets usually can get from taobao for around $20 sgd. Everytime spoil just change lo.

you need to get over the *heart"* barrier of MOC products...

alot of things buy locally spoilt also cannot change.... unless you go to CASE etc...

nevertheless , for big tix items .. i will still look for worldwide warranty and local support. :)

It's like iphone is cheaper when you buy from amazon.. and no contract.. still ppl prefer to buy from local telco..

even when its worldwide warranty..

tats my logic also

like i buy external hdd last time is 1 to 2 pricing

logic v simple, i buy 2 backup 1 each ..

but if i buy here even got warranty, but once spoilt..all gone

so i bought 2 from tb, cheap and touch wood even though if spoilt, my backup is there lol

i supplied 200 cameras to my customer before, i give him 1 year warranty but i quote 3-4x the price.. $18 each i sell $80 with SD cards, he still v happy with the price ..lol

this is how warranty works by up the price [laugh]

made in china products are ok provided they have quality check done by the reputable brands. for example, Apple, Western Digital etc may have products made in china but u sldnt be concern about the quality since these coys have processes in place.

However, there are some MIC products that are lousy and these are from their local companies.
