Why volvo so expensive?

I wouldn't know if Volvo charges more for servicing, as my S80 comes with free service till 60K or 3 years.

Hi

Can you define free service? Labor free or spare parts free or both?

TIA

yes and also only 2 years warranty for battery

That's a very good deal! Spare parts free including spark plugs & oil top up?

Had to ask as I wanted a clarity on what "free servicing" entails.

Was at Vincar, Ubi over the weekend & enquire about a particular PI car. Asked the beng salesman the T&C on free servicing. He said, gearbox, clutch, engine...all major parts kaput, they replaced FOC. But for 10k, 20K so On & so forth maintenance, any wear & tear replacement I have to pay.

He had the cheek to tell me where got free things in this world.

FOC things in the world!!!

Of course not, it has been built into the cost.

it is a total package backed up by the factory for S80 owners from long time back. The other 2 S80 owners I know claimed that they have not spent a single cent on their car for the first 3 years. Of course Wearnes is know for their good after sales service as my father has also praised their service when he was driving his jaguar.

Wearnes is definitely gd. 3 years of everything free during the warranty period... Err not counting tires, plus invite owners to their events for jaguar. Best of it all is that you are treated as a client not a patient. Edited by Derrickc
