I used both k&n and hurricane filter on my previous 2008 fit rs before both no issues, hardest part with k&n is the oiling of the filter after washing.... your mechanic must know how much oil to use, if too much it will dirty the MAF sensor....

What r u going to upgrade to

 

3 way active system with 10" subwoofer using combination of Ground Zero speakers, processor, and Harmotech amps.

My budget 1.5k enuff?

eh... for my setup is around 5k budget, coz it consist of 2 door 2 layer soundproofing, a sound processor, 2 4 channel amps, a set of tweeters, mids and drivers, a subwoofer, wiring, some carpentry work and labor. 1.5k would most likely be a simple 2 way passive setup coz you need to factor in soundproofing, wiring and labor also

haha same, Foon has been installing for my car since my first car but I told him my business hard to earn, change one set of audio after 10 years

I think he's gonna use back the stock HU, he didn't mention anything about HU in the quote, just told me cannot use back my current HU.

The thing is change HU u lose the info function to see ur mileage etc haha

Tomorrow i go see what he say bah.

Will keep my hu and upgrade the speakers plus an amp

If budget allows i sound proof 2 fromt doors

hope you find something good! but he has lotsa ideas and options so shouldn't be a problem

depending on what u install, simple stuff half a day will do, coz need to do wiring. but if soundproof also need about a day.

Thought of doing wheel spacer for the rear wheels. Want to get it flush as the front wheels.Where has the best deals? Need to do wheel alignment for it ?
