Cat A COE: $67,089.

Does this mean good news for those waiting for COEs? [thumbsup][drivingcar]

SIGH...

I missed by $89 😧 & maybe too many last minute chiong & cos system slow tat I slow by few seconds to COE Gate closed!! 😱

Good news is, my PI told me tat my car is in queue for inspection. So they will start doing up my car accessories & film & seats' leather & etc.. So by next COE bid, I should be able to collect car within 2-days..

Fingers crossed.. 😄😄

wkloh,

you bid on your own? Hope you get it in next round.

Hi all,

When your car arrive in Singapore, do your PIs ask you for the remaining payment, or they wait till you get your car?

My PI will ask for the remaining payment before registering the car and hand over.

At this point of time you have already seen your car and have the chasis number ?

OK Dino-Lee Since you ask. Here is something to share.

Want to know how much is your Vezel Basic Cost when it reaches Singapore?

You can do so with checking your OMV value.

Say your Vezel is registered in Oct 2014.

Go to this link:

http://www.onemotoring.com.sg/publish/onemotoring/en/lta_information_guidelines/buy_a_new_vehicle/open_market_value.html

In this example there are 6 variants as shown in the month of October 2014.

Below is the lowest G and highest X models OMV.

OMV_zps3a67c65d.jpg

With the above OMV you then go to this link (go down and look for Car Prices).

In the link look for OMV that roughly matches your OMV.

http://www.onemotoring.com.sg/publish/onemotoring/en/lta_information_guidelines/buy_a_new_vehicle/car_cost.MainPar.30963.File.tmp/Car_Cost_Update.pdf

CarCost_zpsd50ef1bb.jpg

These are Basic Car Cost inclusive of All relevant Taxes, GST, Registration Cost and CEV Rebate(Vezel is band A3 $10K).

Excluding Miscellaneous Fees :VITAS, Inspection, Detailing, Head End unit, Leather seat etc …done locally.

Service warranty from a third party provider such as Optima Werks .

Typical Asian car less than 1800cc for 3 yrs 75K km service warranty can cost $1200 without GST.

All the above info are available to the Public from LTA and One Motoring websites.

OMV is assigned by Singapore Customs.

To recap October 2014 Basic Car Cost.

G-model is approximately $30K (with $10K CEV Rebate)

X-Model is approximately $35K (with $10K CEV Rebate)

Your Purchase Price - COE - Basic Car Cost - Miscellaneous Fees = Your PI Profit. (exclude commissions for finance and Insurance)

The car looks good in real life ... better than the pix.

One can never go wrong with a HONDA, always love their engine and gearbox.

Engine ... I agree ....

But I am not so sure about some of the CVT gearboxes.

Hopefully the new CVT are more reliable.

trajet21, thanks for sharing these valuable information.

No Problem

This also means:

"For vehicles with an open market value (OMV) that is below $20,000, the maximum loan-to-value (LTV) is 60% of the purchase price, including relevant taxes and the price of the Certificate of Entitlement (COE) where applicable"

1) No. of spark plgus I assume 4?

2) CVT gearbox. Only experience with Honda CVT was when driving a fit. Any comments on the current with regards to reliability?

So far so good, as long as every 35k-40k km must change cvt specific oil

then u have no problems [grin]

1) yes 4 but with additional capacitors at the back to help support the plugs

2) CVT gearbox is good not great , its about general maintenance- make sure u change correct CVT oil every 35k-40K interval, if kiasu, every 25k-30K to ensure smooth transmission
