Bro..I am currently driving a CRV. I had also tried the harrier before and both are comparable. A bit hard to compare both Vezel hybrid and S to these two because you can feel the power difference rather easily when on full load (5 adults). So depends on what you want. Personally feel the CRV now too pricey. CRV more thirsty than the new harrier by the way. Vezel wins both hands down in this. If you want power, Vezel other variants just barely make it but hybrid is acceptable imho, though still feel less torquey than CRV despite being lighter.

Thanks for the feedback bro.

Yes sort of decided against the CRV due to it being a guzzler.

It is now between Harrier or Vezel, but i have always wanted a HONDA.

Actually Hybrid even though at 10k up is considered reasonable because the 10k is just to cover for the COE. You are getting an arguably superior car at cheaper the price (if COE is taken out of the equation), any thoughts on that?

SHould be able to get cheaper than this then at some of the smaller insurers because i believe NTUC premium is on the high side?

My PI quoted this. Found it reasonable so took it. Anyway first year from PI after that will find other cheaper sources =)

Actually the price $885 is the same as i got from NTUC (as well) for my X model, as there were not many vezel on the road last OCt

maybe more companies are offering now, but still the price is competitive for a new model car. My broker friend had another company quoted $1000 for the car,

Car Insurance by NTUC with 50% NCD - $885

same same bro! From last oct is the same

i got from my broker

wow bro, dying to test both X/S & Hybrid. Looking at a trade-in. Wife pregnant so need a more utilitarian car that sips petrol.

Am Driving a CU2 now. But dealers offering crappy trade-in. Paper already 94k. they give me at most 10k for body. That's like murder.

sexy

Few month back VW AD offer me $2K above paper value for my previous car.

Just sharing for those considering to get Hybrid version.

Buying is one thing, maintaining is another. According to my regular work shop, there are not many ppl able to repair hybrid car in Singapore. Naturally the cost of repair will be higher.

We are buying from PI and this is the thing we need to take note.

Consider again, the FC of normal petrol and Hybrid does not make huge diff. I know, the gear knob very chio....lol

Wow. I thought I waited long. You waited longer. [thumbsup] Hang in there!

Hi all bros/Sis

Have booked my car with Exodus long long ago on 1st week Aug last year. Now still waiting...possibly I'm ranked 1st in longest wait with no COE as to date.

If its from AD, I will go for hybrid. Furthermore I always have the notion honda hybrid is not the full hybrid. Not an expert in this though. Furthermore, issues on battery warranty etc. The battery itself is a few k if really need replacement. And also resale value of hybrid...if I really go for hybrid, I would go for toyota's at this juncture. In fact I am considering between hybrid and diesel before I come across Vezel. If you have that extra cash then choose the ride you love. Vezel hybrid interior is really nice though.

Shouldn't they start bidding for you once you signed? How many bids? Guaranteed or non?

Yeah need to ask properly on the warranty. I'm inclined towards hybrid because of its higher power not so much other things. If S has a version with hybrid specs I'll sure go for it. I'm also a little worried about hybrid in terms of maintenance.

I went last weekend, they told me earliest will get car in April which is abit long for guaranteed COE? They also don't take in my current ride.

Perhaps will go Hup Long or Cartimes ask ask.

Gotta beware of the small prints from smaller insurer where there may have many red-tapes when doing the claim. For me, I prefer to go for some established one whom I have experience & trust.

Another thing to look at is the "Excess". Meaning below certain amount of repair you have to bear & anything above that amount then the insurrance company will pay. The lower the premium, the higher will be that amount.

Example if your claim is $1,200 & your "Excess" is $1,000, then you still gotta pay $1k while your insurance company will pay $200. Lkewise if your claim is below $1k, then you shall pay everything & the insurance company shall pay none.

Ultimately, good things don really come cheap. We have to ask & clarify whatever doubts & finally to consider the balance within each of our mind, which is individual.

anyone experience using the foam tyre repair kit, the same one that is provided in the Vezel? have watched the video on how to use it but not sure what happens to the tyre after that. anyone can share their knowledge or experience?

during my drive to KL back in Nov, had my fingers (and toes) crossed that i don't get a flat, didn't want to scare the wife and children by talking about it! thank goodness for the safe & incident-free drive back!

however, will have to make another trip up north soon, so glad if anyone have advice to share. TIA

Almost similar to mine.

I got $977.76 (incl GST) with NCD Protector, 10-days loss of use, Key replacement and Excess @ $600

I have test drive the Vezel S model, the car seems dragging during initial gear and the engineer sound become louder when I try to accerate the speed. Not sure if this normal behavior since Vezel come only with 1.5l engine.

Where to test drive ah bro?
