Honda Vezel

Bro, i pegged vezel to compare with qashqai and juke. During the times when altis was around 60-70k, qashqai was 80plus k if i am not wrong, though omv was about similar. No doubt altis has a higher omv after taking cevs rebate into consideration, but to me vezel is a compact suv, which usually there is a premium price to such compared to sedan. Not to mention the higher specs and better fc even compared to altis. Plus kawaii vs sawadeeka...

Bro I guess it is different strokes for different people. For those of us with Vezel, will have our own stories to tell one day. We cannot convert everyone...just my 2 cents

ya the specs is so much better tham altis. This is 1 of the reason it's attractions.

so far ut ticks all the check boxes with 1 exception...

the only gripe i have (heard) is sound insulation or the lack of it. Engine sound can be quite intrusive.

Actually am arranging to test drive it with my se friend.

Now boils down to 4 options

vezel

altis

kia k3

volvo s60 (short to medium term drive)

All eyes are on Sister LEEST's engine mounting sound problem. since workshop has fetermined that is the culprit causing the vibration sound, and is not under their warranty,we would wanna see how her PI settlw this case..

Sis LEEST, any follow so far from LECO PRESTIGE? or chill during CNY 1st then settle thereafter. by now the SE or boss should have given you a temporary answer to put ur mind as ease i tink. continue knock knock knock..may damage other parts, albeit a very small damage..but "sim tia"

yes,we have fellow bros alredy buying with deals set with confirmed 15k rebate pricing, lowest of lows with no top up. and COE rebate set at last closing COE price.find those and u wun go wrong. if happen cev rebate turns out to be 10k,u have benefitted

note that dealers change their pricing strategy from time to time..or at least the clever ones do..this is to line up to their own orders and shipment timings. if have ready stock, sure wud price low and move it fast. i wud go for those.[/quo

Dear Bro, I yet contact my PI coz not sure should I really get WS to "operate" my car. NOT only heart pain, oso worries tat more issue after operation.

I am shocked buyers are still considering Vezel with a questionable warranty only available from PIs when there are better value for money options out there with 5 yr AD warranty which are bigger than the Vezel. Must be the die hard blinded Honda badge lovers. Sorry for my abruptness and frankness. I AM INDEED SHOCKED.

LOL...seriously? Do you even know the difference between the HRV brought in by KM and the JDM Vezel from the PIs?

If KM brings in the HRV which is EXACTLY the same as the Vezel sold by the PIs spec for spec. Then YES i do agree somewhat that considering PIs might not be the best decision.

Actually do most people claim their warranty?. Esp for jap rides?my current jdm honda ride has not claim any warranty at all for the past 9 years while my previous euro ride has claim twice. I guess I am more willing to trust honda and the savings I get from buying a vezel as compared to Hrv should be enough to cover me for any whatever repair Liao..

No need 2b sry, everyone free to express their opinion here. I m not die hard honda fan but I opine vezel is one value for money car tt quite unmatched for certain features if u compared cars in similar price range. B open, go chk out first.

Bro, are you from KM? Or perhaps you never tasted the difference btw AD and JDM. Otherwise your comments may not be valid unless you tasted and not just hearsay. I am lucky enough to own cars from BM, KM and JDM from PI for both makes. You think the 5 yrs warranty covers everything? I encountered sawadeeka made which suspension gave way within 1st yr, air intake sensor faulty, exhaust manifold leak. No doubt they changed my suspension because under warranty but if you wana change the second time, then good luck to you as they will tell you wear and tear hence not covered. As for my exhaust manifold leakage and air intake sensor faulty, the AD's "top notch" workshop told me nothing is wrong as their so called up to date diagnostic kit said so. Just simply plug in and told me see...nothing was detected. I was also very shocked!! And it is true, unless u r into heavy modding, otherwise jdm easily last more than 5 years, or even till 10 yrs if you service and maintain properly. And yes, please read up the difference btw AD and jdm version. Specs are usually different and not to mention paying 10K more for a lousier specs. Furthermore PI are not giving 3 yrs warranty. You can argue that what if PI closed etc, true to some sense that is a risk but I believe to most, it is a calculated risk. Having tried both before, I rather stick to jdm. I am indeed shocked too that you were shocked.

To join in the fun, I had not brought an AD car before. My current ride, Axio, only changed the brake pad after 7 years of driving. Light bulbs are still original stock bulb and FC are still hovering around 16km/L; daily about 90km for ferrying wife And myself to work. chillax. one man meat, another man's poison.

hahaha LMAO!!

another swear by AD n their workshop"vegetable head" who has no idea abt the local car industry. what car do you drive? My guess is the Altis(fantastic fantastic drive..love the engine, cvt, improved suspension and finally non-beige interior..dats abt it,everything else CMI, ESPECIALLY THE BRAKES which are dangerous, no NCAP ratings and confirmed not any better value for money...if it's QQ,good for u,very gd choice, but do read previous 20pages of problems with AD TC workshop, if u noe how to settle repairs urself then no problem. If it's european cars,i hope it's either BMW,MERC or Volkswagen-made,everyrhing else also CMI. Bro,pls go ahead n trust ur AD 100pct, u will be well taken care of as long u allow them to bleed you dry. All the best!

bro for vezel S model i believe there is better sound insulation..Hybrid definitely has..personally testify to that. Very composed quiet drive albeit stock dunlop tyres which can be changed for comfort and an even more quiet drive

For me I have test drive both hybrid and s model and somehow found that the s model seems to be more quiet. And also the hybrid is not exactly too quiet.. Maybe because I am comparing to my jdm accord..

Havent driven S model, but i wud agree with u,perhaps cos of the electric motor and i-dcd. I love the performance more than just insulation though, but that's for me and my subjective opinion. Cruising wise totally no problem! :0)

Dear all

Anyone got a Vezel with a sun or moonroof? How much more did you pay for it? I went to see some vezels but the dealer told me they did not have one with a sun roof
