Just wanted to know what kind of engine oil (both brand and viscosity). Because Honda Vezel's Manual is recommended 0W-20. Do you guys think it is a bit too thin based on Singapore climate?

Must keep in mind that we are buying direct imports from japan and the manual is not yet fully cater to SG. So must do some adjustment ourself. 😊

Saw a white Vezel parked at Boon Keng multi storey car park. It has the rim from the promotional brochure which I am eyeing for. Not sure whether the bro/sis of this car is reading this forum. Can anyone share whether this rim can be bought locally or have to import from Japan.

 

 

This rim is only for the S model & come with car fm Japan, at least fm my case as I wanted this rim. My car is the X model. I decided to change my rims locally after that.

Bro ... In this case be careful as yr car maybe the next test drive car if u ordered fm them. When I purchase my car, they hv a show room car but no test drive. We can only seat & feel the car. There were some other owners cars that hv leather seat fixed that he only open the door to show me the seats, not allow to even sit in the car. I was piss but realized that I also do not wish other ppl in my car too.

Recently found many choices @ Stamford Tyre. 😀 You may wanna try take a look there..😉

For those bros here still waiting for your Vezel, I hope that this piece of information can eased the burden while you still in doubt about your PI answer.

 

This afternoon I went down to my PI (own by my personal friend) to chit chat with his staff (anyway I have already collected my car few weeks ago). I asked him that what is the typical waiting time for Japanese car, he mentioned that it take about 4 months if you booked the car for a fresh shipment. He also mentioned that some of the shipment can be delay up to a month (based on his past experience). One of his customer is waited 9 months for his car that came from Europe.

For those who are waiting for their Vezel. Information you can ask for to check if your car really here.

 

1) Bill of Landing (BL), once have BL you will have chassis number & BL will show who the importer,

 

2) LTA application number (usually 13 number), LTA officer will call you back if you have the application number telling you the progress.

 

I'm very very sure dealer sure can provide you the above information. I can why can't others?

Thanks for the reply. I peeped into the car and saw it has only the cruise control button on the steering wheel. If it is an S model, shouldn't it come with the volume control on the left of the steering wheel?

 

btw, did you all choose any rims? If you did, do you mind to attach a photo of it? Thanks in advance.
