The answer had came, on the 30th day of accident (today), the errant driver's insurer decided to response by sending down their own independent surveyor.

Right now the driver had "surrendered" himself to the insurer.

Sorry to use this tread... I was hit by a taxi and he did not stop. What should I do?

 

I called the cab company but the driver switch off the handphone.

see doctor for 3 days "rest" at home.

 

lastly, remember to report to your insurer whether you want to claim or not.

Thanks Kangadrool... after I recovered from my initial shock, I went to make a police report liao....

 

I called my insurance co and they told me to go and report at their authorised workshop tmr... cos all closed today.

 

Now I don't know whether the taxi driver will deny cos he did not stop after hitting me (don't even have his mobile number although I left my mobile number with the cab company)... also don't know whether to proceed with repair tmr... maybe wait for insurer's advice.

Taxi Co replied and asked me to submit my claims "On a without prejudice basis" to their insurer for assessment...

 

Means I can submit but its not an admission of the driver at fault??

 

The driver has also filed a report.

 

I have not commence my repair yet. Any idea what I should do next? Get a copy of his report before repairing?

let your authorised workshop settle all these minor things. Its not your responsibility to ensure these that that, its the job of the workshop.

Claim against 3rd party completed.

Case should be concluded in couple of weeks more

TP called me that investigation with conclusion completed.
