Its not. Its a torque converter 6sp auto

I thought the 6 speed SelectShift Automatic is a dual clutch? It's the same as the PowerShift except that it has the SelectShift function?

At least that's what I read from the internet.

SelectShift is a function whereby you can use the + and - to control the gear. But its based on the same dual clutch transmission as the PowerShift.

The new drivetrains should be using the 6F35 since the PowerShift was rather poorly received in the long term. If it does not explicitly mention "PowerShift", high chances are it's a torque convertor. But yes, you are correct, SelectShift is supposed to refer to the manual over-ride feature.

torque convertor is one of the more technical terms used for normal automatics.

i changed outside. Wait till 10k then i go back regent.

like i said, i can get 550km with balance 80km (lights on) so total 630km. (70% hway / 30% city)

last week, i got 500km with balance 80km (lights on) so total 580km. (50% hway / 50% city)

using Ron95.

Did my servicing(5w-20) and im still getting 10km/l, at times its 9.7-9,8.

Besides changing rims, what else did u do? If nothing else then can conclude that changing lighter rims reduce fc by 20%?(im getting 420km total with (50% hway / 50% city)

SGCM say that even with some stop start and their semi-spirited driving they managed 13km/l...

somehow...

Thats more like a general tip for improving FC, i think wat we're more curious about is why the fc figures stated in brochure is wayyy far off from what we actually get. Of course nobody should ever trust brochure specs, everyone knows its never the same, but im getting less than half of wats stated, which anyone would find ridiculous.

unfortunately, nothing much u can do about it.

u can throw it back to the dealer and complain about it, but they will say probably say: it's like dat one.

unless u can find something that is specifically wrong that is causing the bad FC,

else u can only follow "general tip for improving FC".

Hi guys,

I'm eyeing a 2nd hand 2012 Focus Titanium.

Would like to find out on the following:

FC (my driving pattern is 70 Highway : 30 City) :

Gearbox reliability : Read that the PowerShift has it's fair share of typical DSG problem

"2017" one already here if you mean the 2016 Mk.3 model with SYNC 3, but if you mean the next generation one there's not much info out there, haven't been released anywhere, only spotted in camouflage

The current Focus sold in RM as 2016 models do not have sync 3.
