It's held every qtr of the year. Usually is around the start of the school holidays.

 

Do you buy things at these shows/events? How many such things you need in a year? I realised things that i bought 2 years ago are still working and serving me fine till today, ie no need new ones every quarter

Correct, but at shows got lucky draw and free gifts. So if you don't mind the crowd, its still worth a go!

SLS need to know which are the reputable shops if not kena Jovan Chew.

 

I've only been to SLS once or twice in my entire life.

2 No lah, I never win before.

 

1 Usually if i like the clothing i will buy a few in one go and only stop wearing them few years later (more than 2yrs for sure) when they reach ORD date due to wear n tear. As I dont really follow trends / fashions, I prefer to buy say about 20 pieces to last me the next few years (as one "cycle") instead of 6 or so every six months. This way, at any one time, i have 20 pieces to choose from.

 

Half way through the "cycle", i do another 20-pcs buy to overlap with the previous "cycle" ie a total of 40 pcs to choose (50% new, 50% not-so-new). This also helps cut down my shopping trips.

 

2 If and when you win, you can tell your self "Perseverence" pays!!

The question is "What will she get out of it going with the willing bros vs going alone?" unless on the day she has plan to buy 48" flat screen tv, printer, desktop, etc bulky items and need more hands.

Come to think of it, why not? If our willing bros all go with her wearing all black + dark glasses, 4 in front of her, another 4 behind, this will sure make heads turn at the show.... MCF logos on the black worn by the bros!!!
