Just look up my receipts.

I have 2 x 4 channels amp powering the front and rears. Have a MTX 3 way crossover for the front but no processor.

 

Do drop me a private message if you have a shop to recommend who can install and tune the system.

 

hmmm, 2 amp with 4 channels each? your installer must have bridged your channels then to provide more power to your speakers.

 

since you have 2 4 channel amps already, that's 8 channels you can use.

 

you can just buy a processor, run the front 3 way full active, so you're using 6 channels out of your 8. the remaining two to power your rear speakers using passive crossover. your sub and sub amp stays the same.

 

or

 

use 2 channels for your tweeters, 2 channels for your mid range, and bridge the remaining 4 channels for your mid bass. just power the rear speaker using the internal amp of your head unit. sub and sub amp stays the same. i personally would go for this setup

Any advise where can i change the whole panel in order fit the 8750.

 

Wish to maintain the controls from the steering wheel too as used to adjust volume from there while driving.

Hi, I am using 8750 now, bought on May. I have been facing the issues below since day 1.

 

While using Apple Car Play,

• lagging or screen hang if changing mode, such as from USB 1 to USB 2. It will not back to normal and have to restart the system. (have to restart the car.)
• when playing the song from my iphone, and reversing the car. After reversed the car, gear switched to D or N, the playing stopped or screen hang.
• No back camera view showed when reversing. (screen blank)

Others:

• System will not start immediately when I started my car. It took a few minutes to start after that.

All these are intermittent issues and not happen everytime, but recently seems like become more frequent. I tried to upgrade the firmware to the latest version from Pioneer website, the problem still unsolved.

 

Anyone facing the same problem as me?

 

By the way, anyone know how to 'off' the system (not off the display) without off my car?

the answer depends on what your car is

 

best to consult your installer

best to go to your local car audio installer and ask them if they have the dash kits for your suv

sadly no i don't experience your issues. go back to your installer and ask if you can replace the unit. if they have a demo unit, try that if you experience the same thing.

 

for your back camera view when reversing either camera is not installed properly or faulty or your settings is not properly configured.

I am trying the AppRadio

I am happy with it as it can launch Waze and I control and type on the HU screen

But, one thing I am not happy which is

Yes, I need to connect my phone with the HDMI,

But, this port, not able to charge faster than the power of my phone consume...

My phone only launch the AppRadio and Waze...

 

Anyone have this problem and what is your solution?

Did u connect USB port for charging, apart from the HDMI?

I connected my phone with the micro USB and turn on the bluetooth

I can run AppRadio mode very well

If I did not run AppRadio but just plug in the micro USB cable, yes, it will charge my phone

When I turn on the AppRadio, on my phone screen, it show charging as well

Just that...e.g. my phone battery is 90%

I turn on AppRadio mode and Waze

After I drive for sometime, may be about 10km++, the battery level will drop to 89% or 88%

 

I read the manual...it said if such case happen, please turn off some services or apps on my phone

But...my phone at that moment only have appradio and waze running...

 

May be...it not build for GPS that using for longer time

It seem like the power that supply from this HU is a bit low.

You connected the microusb to your Note 2. So one end is connected to your Note 2. The other end I supposed is connected to the HDMI port?

 

In this case, maybe the HDMI port is not so efficient in charging?

 

The part I wanna ask is, the mirroring is made possible due to the HDMI or the Bluetooth?

 

Lastly, when there is mirroring, u can control the stuffs on ur phone by just using the HU screen?

 

Asking as I will be a 8750 user soon and still considering whether to buy a HDMI/USB panel or simply buy a wireless module to connect my Note 4 wirelessly for mirroring.

U need to buy HDMI to phone adaptor, you can connect Usb for charging.. my agent said can only support up to note3. Not sure true or not.. maybe u can try..

Let me explain what I know

8750bt support iphone and android phone

If you plan to show some of the apps or gps apps on the HU, there is few ways

 

Iphone (Just connect the iphone cable with the USB port 1 will do)

Got 2 options

1. Install AppRadio, but this see to have compatible issue with IOS 8, you can just google then u can see a lot information

 

2. Carplay mode, this is new, but limited function, I test this already, it work, but, really, lack of function.

 

 

Android

I install the HDMI cable module and link to the USB 2 at the HU, this is not include in the HU package, but, I think for android user, must install it. After in stall, it got a micro USB head for you to plug in to your android phone.

 

1. Mirror link mode - Connect the micro USB (the HDMI module) with your phone, at the setting, set to use android phone, and then select display with mode HDMI, now, you can see your phone screen appear on the HU screen. In this mode, what you see on your phone, is actually what you see on the HU. You cannot control your phone via the HU screen.

If you put your phone as portrait mode, the HU will show the screen as portrait mode

 

2. AppRadio mode -

i. Install AppRadio apps from Play store

ii. Launch AppRadio apps and then in the apps, install those apps that show in AppRadio, e.g. Waza

iii. Connect the micro USB (the HDMI module) with your phone, at the setting, set to use android phone, and then select HDMI.

iv. Turn on your bluetooth and connect with your phone

v. At your HU, press the mode button, you should able to see the HU with different user interface which is the AppRadio interface, you can launch the apps as Waze there. (If you do not see any new interface, may be you need to launch the AppRadio apps on your phone first)

 

Regardless how you put your phone, landscape or portrait, the AppRadio able to show the apps with full screen with landscape mode.

 

3. Android Auto - This mode only support with Android version 5 (Lollipop), I am using Note 2, which is android 4.4 (kitkat), so I cant test this function, not sure need to plug in the cable or not... Note 4 I think receive the update to Android 5 already, you can try this mode.
