180k? you are joking boh, :D

Camry already 165k

How much is the current ES250 nett? If the new ES200 goes below 200k (maybe 190k) then will be quite a good deal.

ES250 already 240k liao, how can ES200 below 200k, and ES200 used new DGI Engine, power almost same as ES250

List price has a lot of margin you can squeeze. [;)]

The new design language doesn't appeal to me.. especially if you try to be dynamic and sporty for exterior with that oversized front grille, but interior wise still over use of faux wooden panel. Identity crisis or seriously contradicting itself.

The exterior is targeted at the younger clientele who thought Lexus design language too conservative.

The interior is targeted at the older ones who still want acres of wood and leather.

If they try to target only younger ones, they'll never win BMW. If they try to target older ones, they'll never win Mercedes. I think their marketing department would have done their homework before coming up with this compromise.

The new Lexus front grille grows on me. Initially I didnt like their new design DNA but with the NX and now this new ES, I am converted.

It's like that with many ground-breaking designs, like the E65/55 BMW 7-series which van Hooydonk designed but Bangle took the blame for.

Now waiting for the other Toyota designs to grow on me... such as the new Alphard, if it ever will.

The new facelift for ES250 seems minor. Also they still try to be stingy on basic features (in today's Context) in the Executive version such as Blind spot warning, Navigation etc. The price diff btw Executive and Luxury version is SGD 12K to 13k... too big a diff even though I know it comes with Paronomic roof. Still I thought Navigation syst is standard esp w the price of Lexus. Even Camry all comes with Navigation..sigh!!
