This seems to match what one of the reviews, ie between 500 to 550km, and translates to a fc of 10km/l.

BTW, if the reverse cam line is off-centered, can we say its faulty and not accept it?

Not accept what?

The car?

Woah! Tomo-CSE is supplying ASX with touchscreen multimedia system that still uses the outdated capacitive screen technology!

No wonder, it responds better to stylus inputs and not finger inputs. I got an old stylus and keep it inside the car to access the touchscreen, if needed. Hand phones / Tablets are all using the resistive touch screen technology. [thumbsdown]

Yes touch screen is not as sensitive but i think good enough to do its job. Havent really explore it though.

Anyone intending to change to pioneer HU?

Still considering, I still not too sure, wonder if the vendor can give me a trade-in for a new HU?

If so, I will seriously consider doing it.

Do you know if Pioneer touchscreen is better than the Tomo-CSE one?

It should be using a resistive touchscreen, like hand phones / tablets.

In this day and age, using a stylus on touch screen is so Jurassic!

Almost all cars have reverse cams that are not centered.

Installer cannot mount it in the center as the rear boot release button is normally situated there.

So I do not see how you can argue that it is faulty and not accept it.

The reverse cam image is not centered perfectly, but it is good enough to show you obstructions / objects at the rear blind-spot area.

Think that Tomo-CSE disabled the yellow reverse lines to prevent confusion to drivers.

You are right about capacitative and resistive touchscreen but I think above accidentally swap them around.

Capacitative - modern touch screen like iPhone light touch with finger can already

Resistive - old-style press with finger nail.

Opps, yes, think I have swopped the terms.

Tomo-CSE supplied ASX with resistive touch screen.

Hand phones use capacitive touch screens.

Find the interior lighting in the ASX to be far too dim.

There are only two sets of lights near the rear view mirror at the front and none at the rear / center of the passenger compartment.

Most cars would have an additional set of lights at the middle to provide illumination for the rear seat passengers.

My rear seat passengers have problems at night fastening their seat belts as it is so dark inside at the rear.

Does anyone who has collected their ASX find it to be a problem?

What were the Mitsubishi designers thinking when they were planning the interior lighting for the ASX? [confused]

U can change the existing bulbs to brighter LEDs to enhance the lumens in the cabin.

Get get it easily from Taobao and diy or most car workshops have it too.

Likewise for the rear boot lighting, and the external bulbs too.

I need the brighter LED! Getting old and I cant see that well at night liao.

Any idea how much each cost?

Any review on Thinkware F770? I am thinking of getting it at the PC Show.

It going at $628 + $70 for installation.

If change in SG, 24 LED for about $20 each, 12 LED for about $10 each.  Most car workshops have.

If buy online, can get for about $2 each.  Ultra bright reverse LED light bulbs can get for around $4 each.  Especially useful in dark places when you are reversing.

Interior cabin if you are using the 24 LED, turn on just one side is bright enough for almost the entire cabin.

For the rear boot, 12 LED is bright enough already.

I dont think they will bother with a trade in or top up but potential buyers cam try asking.

Was washing the car over the weekend and discovered a defect in my ASX.

The left side fog light housing seems to be missing a plastic piece and water can enter the fog lamp housing into the engine compartment! I checked the right side fog light and the 'missing' piece was there.

Made appointment at C&C and service adviser said that he will get this checked out.

Woah, I really did not notice this when collecting the car and wonder if the C&C PDI and Mitsubishi QC could have missed this.

Furthermore, sent in for 1K service last month already and nobody noticed it?

Hmmm...

Express option is to get it done within 60min for 1k exclude other check n complimentory car wash.

I did not know there was an option, waited at the customer lounge, service was completed within 2 hrs.

Includes complementary car wash.

Hi,

I checked, Festoon 31 mm interior LED bulb has 4 LEDs on one side.

How do you get one that has 24 / 12 LEDs?
