Swiftgolfer 2nd Gear August 28, 2017 Share August 28, 2017 I would think is normal, the smell will go away after sometime. I kind of miss the rubber smell. Very good i know already. the brake pad run-in period haha, tech say will not have smell after run in. will monitor =) if still smell after 100km then that means they smoke me. ↡ Advertisement

Sktan10 5th Gear August 28, 2017 Share August 28, 2017 the figure does not tell much without knowing the following, 1) average speed for the trip - if it is more highway run, the figure will be low. thus the average speed will reflect this. if stop-start is enabled, with more city run will still show higher figure but not as high as a pure highway trip. without S-S, the figure will generally be lower to reflect more urban drive and waiting at traffic. 2) distance travelled - this will tell the type of traffic encounter 3) routing - an overview of how this trip was done. Many times, people will say I can do 20km/l on highway. But this info is of no value as even cars 10 years ago can pretty much achieved it too. It is the total cycles that will tell how the car's fuel economy performs. Agree.Do you believe?

Any hump in sg will full load will sometime experience the same effect tooToo bad on the lower body design, what is the selling point for CG to have safety & better performances or this car, I not going for 100km cornering or 200km speed on the road. Frequent travel to Malaysia & the hump is not standardise there, expect to have a lot of heart pain for this car. Unless you buy this car for practice to have your Ferrari next. Swiftgolfer 2nd Gear August 29, 2017 Share August 29, 2017 Hi everyone, I am new to this forum. Wanted to ask a very basic question. What is the correct way to "disengage" the electronic brake after engaging it? Thanks in advance. Press down on the "P" i'm already stepping on the brakes. Then release the brakes after i see the red light, light up. or if you take the picture from the subaru manual, if you want pictures, the manual has it or some hardworking dude scanned it online. link below. its for the WRX but hey haha its the same. https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1117272/Subaru-2016-Wrx.html?page=22

Do you mean pressing down on the "P" while stepping on the brakes to release the parking brake? Should the red light disappear instead of light up? I heard that the "P" brake can be released by stepping on the accelerator as well, is that true? To activate the parking brake, should it be simply to press on the brake, pull up the "P" and wait for the red light to light up? Thanks again for your help. Don't forget seat belt fastened or the pedal to release P brake won't release, unless u disengage it manually.
