Light clattering clicking sound when accelerating

I think I have a similar noise on my 1NZFE. Sounds like something leaking clicking noise when doing mild accelerating.

Tried the caltex ones before, clicking never go away, another thing i observe is it only click when engine is at optimal temperature.

I have the same issue on a Kia. Workshop suspected timing chain loose, changed the whole assembly at a cost of 1k, issue was still not fixed and they can't seem to pinpoint the problem.

 

Sort of given up and learn to live with it already. Pinging occurs at speeds above 80km/h and when engine on load at low speeds.

 

Any advice appreciated.

wat ur oil weight. i was suspected its the oil control valve.

i took out and do a actuation. it sound actually the same when pinging

i will also explore on the oil temp sensor. Maybe out of specifications.

Found this page when googling. 

I also have something very similar, but not in a Toyota but on a Skoda vrs which is a 2.0 TSI. 

Went back to dealer 2x and outside workshop once, but no solution.

Anyone hv any idea?
