It should work the same as google map.. Without an internet connection, you won't be able to locate or navigate a route.

Believe me, 5 adults is no problem for the 1.0T. It out perform even my 1.8 Stream.

BTW The Astra 1.0L also came equipped with a big front mount intercooler as width as the radiator and about 15cm tall. Which explains the stellar performance.

Genting no problem. Gear 1 and 2 are really short/close.

Actually Opel is also branded as Vauxhall in UK. Vauxhall Astra is everywhere in UK, and so is Opel Astra in Europe. When I was studying in England, the Vauxhall is a household name. back then the Opel/Vauxhall Calibra was quite popular in British Touring Car Championship.

There are heaps of parts on Amazon. Even Aliexpress carries parts for the Astra K.

There is not much reason for the local stockist to keep full stock for the Astra K. Would you rather stock up for Vezel or Astra? Until the local Astra population reach a critical mass, stockists will not likely to keep every single parts.

OPEL is not available in Malaysia nor Indonesia. I think only SG and China has Opel, but need to check.

Be aware though some parts for Buick Verano (china version of Astra) on Aliexpress are for left hand drive.

I have tried sourcing parts from UK or online and actually is not any different than the price AG carries.

Take for example the bonnet insulator online is selling about 110GBP which is about the same here.

depends on what kind of wear and tear components.

items like brake pads, clutch, etc can pre-empt and indent in advance. But if things suddenly break down and cannot move, then just have to go to AG for repairs.

Some things break down but car can still use, then you can still wait for parts to arrive I guess.

But your mechanics can purchase from AG directly nonetheless. I believe AG will give trade price to your mechanics. My regular mechanics never mark up on parts. Just charge me labour.

Are you guys able to get the radio station name displayed on the centre screen?  All I get is the frequency (95.0, 92.0, etc)  Even after I do an "update radio stations", only same names appear, and in small fonts below the frequency and comes and goes.  "RDS" is on too.
