New Suzuki Vitara 2016

All car makers had their fair shares of recalls....as long as your car don’t give you major headaches, you should be happy with what you own.

 

So far, I am still enjoying my Vitara!!

Mine is 4wd. The sound comes on only during hard acceleration, coming from under the car and to the rear.

When are you free to meet up? When we do, I will demo to you...

I just pumped SPC 98 and will monitor for the time being.

Thanks. I think with 98 or V-power the pickup is definitely better. But that's not the point. It's a Suzuki, there shouldn't be a restriction on petrol like this.

I don't feel a reduction in power when the sound comes on. I am just worried that this sound is a warning sign of something that is not right. But CM obviously can't figure it out and I am disappointed with them.

It's still there. I tried with one tank of 98 and I still hear the sound, it's softer and did not come on that easy. Now I am back to 95 and the sound is just went back to the same loudness and frequency I complained before.

So this means that their explanation of fuel type is rubbish. Short of writing a letter to their mgmt, I don't know what I can do now.

My previous Suzuki I can drive for 10 years, don't think this one can make it.

U guys tried before when start engine n wanna move off when the RPM is abt 1500, the engine is very noisy when moving off? Then I stop n let engine warm up to below 1000 RPM n the engine is back to quiet when moving off. Could it b u guys no warm up the engine before move off n tat y have those loud noise from engine?

after numerous re-setting of 'program' at Champ i still get the jerk from the Engine when i step harder on the accelerator. i monitor it's normally from Gear 1 to 2....

If still under warranty, need to insist they fix the issues. Sometimes they'll gv lame excuses like it's normal, or unable to replicate the issue etc. Hv to bang table until they get it done.

I'm starting to feel this.

If moving of normally or use sports mode no issue. But if i'm on auto mode and accelerate hard will feel the 'throw clutch' changing to gear 2.

Price quoted from CM in Singapore is very high... at least 1 time more when i compare with my friends (not Vitara, but japanese cars like Honda Vezel and Nissan QQ).
