Turbocharged

Besides looking sleek, it is sleek, with a very impressive drag coefficient, despite the straight lines.

But me, I'm more interested in the Sportback.

The front grill had lost it signature design.  It become a Hyundai.

To me it's the other way around.

Hyundai lost their signature moustache.

Got signature design in front? All the Audi front look very similar IMO... maybe I'm not expert haha

But who copy who......

Audi went for this so called single frame style first, but I think it was Hyundai that went hexagonal first.

Audi already had a sort of subtle hexagonal shape in 2014 or 2013, but they've made the top chamfer larger recently in the latest iteration of Singleframe.

In 2015 Hyundai started going with a full-on horizontal slats grille that is similar to Audi's singleframe albeit with different proportion, but back in 2012 they were already using a hexagon shape.

However it's worth noting that Hyundai's new grille in Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 has similar proportioning to its original iteration in Fluidic Sculpture (1.0). I prefer 1.0's look, it's just a lot more unique looking compared to the competition.

There is already another thread on the same topic / car.

2nd Generation Audi A5 / RS5, under Conti section.

Aside to mod, can you help to merge the 2 threads? Thanks.

Had the B8 A5 when it was initially launched in Singapore and selling like hotcakes. The sleek design from the back and the DRL (very new concept back then) from the front gave the car the killer looks from every possible angles. Was quite reluctant to give up the car but the infamous DSG GB was giving me signs of its end days.

The design of the B9 A5 did not change drastically from the B8 and IMO rightfully so. I find the A5 design evergreen and it was and is still one of the best looking coupe in the market.

Still looking great!  I m looking at new A5, afraid it inherits the old problems.

The more I read of it, the more I have the setback. Let's see while waiting for the test drive.
