  1. Karma hits a reckless Audi A5 driver in the form of a car crash after causing a long list of various traffic infringements over the course of 5 days. Timeline Here's an official timeline of all of the incidents featured in the video compilation above. 14th September We start off with the driver performing a reckless lane change along the expressway on the 14th. The video shows the Audi zooming in from the left of the camcar, as the driver speeds up and places himself in the middle lane despite the car's presence. 17th September The second incident features the same Audi performing another reckless lane change a few days later. Like the first time, the car zooms in from the motorcyclist's right and dangerously tailgates the car in front of it. The motorcyclist shakes his head in disbelief as the driver quickly drifts into the middle lane. 18th September On the day of the crash, the Audi driver performs a series of reckless driving stunts a few hours before. At 1:05 p.m., the car is seen parked at the side of the road in front of a second vehicle after it had caused an accident. A few minutes later, the driver performs a reckless lane change. The car almost hits the other drivers on the road as it quickly swerves from left to right and back. Finally, at 5:19 p.m., the Audi performs another reckless lane change on the expressway as it zooms past a silver car in the right lane. The car suddenly switches into the middle lane, cutting in front of a large white bus before quickly switching back to the right. However, the A5 driver fails to notice that there is already a parked car in the right lane from an earlier accident. The driver causes a chain collision as he suddenly slows down, hitting the parked car in front of him and causing the silver car behind him to crash as well. Netizens' reactions Honestly, the Audi A5 driver got what he deserved. This just shows that no matter how great your car is, a reckless driver is never a safe driver. --- Thinking of selling your car? sgCarMart Quotz guarantees the highest selling price for your car. 2. I can't decide which one, both are nice in styling in it's own design. Power wise definitely thumbs up on A5, C Coupe not too bad too. Need your kind comments on them, cheers!
  3. The new generation of the Audi A5 will be officially revealed on June 2 with the company live-streaming the event online. The two-door version of the A4 is expected to be lighter by up to 100kg (220 pounds) and offer more room inside, courtesy of a longer wheelbase. The engine range will mirror that of the A4 as well, meaning a wide selection of turbocharged four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines, with more expensive versions coming with either a petrol or a diesel V6 turbocharged unit. Audi has been teasing its new coupe with a series of animated gifs on its social media for a while now, revealing design details like the front headlight treatment and the curvy rear quarters of the bodywork. Features like the Virtual Cockpit digital display is also present as expected. Apart for the two-door bodystyle, the new A5 will also get a convertible and a Sportback variant. Audi has been caught testing the range-topping RS5 which is reportedly going to use a turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 unit in the place of the naturally aspirated 4.2-litre V8, with an output close to 500hp.

    2017 Audi A5

Anyone looking forward to the launch of this car? Design looks super sleek!
  5. I am considering between these few cars for purchase in 2015. Mercedes-Benz E-Class Saloon BMW 5 Series Sedan Audi A6 Audi A5 Sportback Can bros here tell me which one you'll recommend and why? Important to me is : 1) driverability. ie, handling and power must be good. 2) as little maintenance problems as possible. I hate to go to the workshops to repair stuff, even if they are minor. Very time-wasting.
  6. Project Kahn has a new styling package for the Audi A5 which draws its inspiration from its bigger brother, the Audi R8 supercar. Take a look at the front and rear bumpers and you can clearly tell the 'R8-ness' in the bodykit. But if you drove a Project Kahn Audi A5, the only thing that would come to my mind is that you can't afford an R8, ergo the bodykit (much like another company's R8 kit for the Audi TT I suppose). So if you agree with my train of thought and think that this car is actually a poor man's R8, you may just as well stop reading this article and move on to the next. But if you don't actually care what I think of the Project Kahn Audi A5 and think that it is absolutely drop dead gorgeous, then read on. The MTM Audi RS5

MTM has decided to preview their tweaks on the Audi RS5. This piece of kit is for those that think that the standard RS5, which is actually an A5 or an S5 with a 4.2liter V8, slightly different rims and a lot more noise from its exhausts, isn't enough to impress their drinking buddies. That V8 in the RS5 is derived from the old B7 Audi RS4 that we all love so much. Well, I do anyway. Not much is done basically, the MTM RS5 isn't a radical tweak as the 450bhp thereabouts 4.2 liter V8 makes.......450bhp. Yes, it is the same power output the RS5 had when it left the factory but the ECU is tweaked to allow the car to reach a maximum speed of 303km/h (188mph) instead of the usual German manufacturer limit of 250km/h (155mph). Audi does offer an increased speed limit too, but it is only to 280km/h (174mph). So this is a good thing if you intend to keep up with some 911GT3s or to actually boast a higher V-max than your other RS5 buddies at an Audi gathering. There is also an exhaust upgrade, but I suppose it is more for releasing more of that wonderful V8 rumble from the RS5 as there is no reported increase in horsepower. MTM Bimoto rims are fitted to the car (in black or silver), as with uprated tires that can handle that extra maximum speeds the MTM RS5 can achieve. The ECU tweak costs1499
  8. Its finally here. The car that Audi claims is three cars in one has been launched here in Singapore. We have already been accustomed to the coupe version of the A5 which is by far, one of the most stunning cars Audi has ever come up with in my opinion, and now there's the 4 door saloon version for people who want to buy this car with more of their heads than their hearts. Its called the Sportback simply because it looks sportier and more aggressive than the A4 which it is based on. Sportier it is as its ground clearance is 36mm lower and two engines will be available; the mighty 3.2-litre FSI V6 which is home to 265 horses and a 2.0 litre one which I think will be rather pointless as the car weighs roughly 1.6 tonnes, with a 2.0 litre under the bonnet and 211bhp, I think you're better off with the 3.2 litre if money isn't and issue. The biggest difference between the 2 variants is that the 3.2 litre comes with a Sport differential which distributes the torque from the engine to the rear wheels. However, the stuff that comes as standard across both variants include Audi's drive select, dynamic steering and 3 zone air conditioning. Getting the 3.2 litre top of the range model will also allow you to enjoy the S-line body kit, a pimped out sound system from Bang & Olufsen and adaptive headlights. The price of the 3.2-litre variant is just over 200k at $201,800 while the 2.0-litre version can be yours at $174,500. Both set at rather competitive prices as compared to the Mercedes E class Coupe and the BMW 3 Series coupe and convertible. So what would it be? Choosing the Sportback is the practical choice while the Coupe is for the youthful soul that resonates from within, nevertheless, this is a great car to own.
