Refering to the article above, I can't help but noticed that the test car have leather seats installed for the review. I recalled the seat was Fabric during my test drive. Is the leather seat offered as default?

Yet to test drive. But experiences with most dealers is that test drive vehicles are usually more up-specced.

if go outside leather upholstery shop for full leather wrap will be cheaper?

I believe so. IIRC reading on some Malaysian forum the pricing for doing up the leather is cheaper than the price quoted here.

bro, top up $880 is only for half leather, those touches us are leathers, those behind and by the side are synthetic leathers. Might as well check ard see how much outside can do, we can choose color, choose grades of leathers and mayb even do whatever pattern we like. I think their selection quite standard one. Most ADs dont even have options to choose.  [laugh]  [laugh]  [laugh]

Of course there are some who think can squeeze it out of them, just be careful dont end up getting those lousy PVCs.  -_-

Lets see Premium X manual selling RM 42,800.00 / 3.12 = S$ 13,717

COE Cat A S$49,751 so car + COE = S$63,468

So selling price of S$74,800 = profit of S$ 11,332

So I think selling the manual at S$74,800 is also possible.   [thumbsup]

:D

only premium variant for at n mt, priced 76.8k n 74.8k resp'y.

leather seats top up 0.8k.

interior: very spacious for head n leg room both front n back; even move front seats all the way back i have few fingers' width space for knee room. boot space winner due to 508l space. expect soft (bendable) plastics n some corner cutting - even centre dash n console end near knee / shin area (ur hand can slip through fr right to left from under cooling coil; also means replace cooling coil may not need to remove dash). seats reasonably comfy w some lateral support. front spkr smaller than rear spkr; when fader = 0 sound more from back. HU not touchscreen type. i like the door frame in one whole pc. svc / parts replacement should be easy with engine bay components reasonably spaced out.

exterior: prefer 15" rims to spec-ed 14". found exhaust pipe extend very long fr muffler that is mounted at middle of car chassis, so if idling i think exhaust pipe may vibrate more. i like shark fin antenna n chrome door handles n smart entry function. surprisingly, ceiling seemed reasonably insulated (not nissan sunny, subaru xv standard).

drive: reasonably perky for its displacement n 4at config. expected noisy when revving. suspension does job fairly well - not too bouncy / stiff n felt planted (didn't test at e-way speed). steering weight light. no squeak / rattle heard during drive (maybe well built and / or minimum parts installed)

my conclusion: improve MIM quality compared w proton wira era. may give attrage a hard time depending its price and / or features. comfy ride if driven sanely. "value" pt a-b ride (in s'pore still expensive hence quote unquote). better looking than attrage imo; if don't like look can zhng up north.

tks mcf n perodua for organizing, the invite n complimentary refreshments n car wash..

wa.. really spacious.. wait! msia rims r nicer!

n i missed out some ergonomics: becos steering wheel not even tilt adjustable, my left knee rests between centre dash upper trim n steering coln upper cover. rear centre passenger no headrest (n maybe no 3-pt seat i guess). but, i like the hooks on driver n front passenger seat backs n another anti-snatch hook at inner side of front passenger seat - very ingenious! how i wish such hooks can be installed on all cars..
