Taking Mitsubishi Attrage & Chery J3 sedan as a bench marks, at current COE price, my guess:

Bezza Premium MANUAL - $77,000

Bezza Premium AUTO - $80,000

Any pricing that is higher might face resistance, as Singapore car buyers tend to avoid Malaysian car makes.

A pricing advantage will help to break this ice and slowly gain buyers' confidence.

currently axia Auto at about $72k

if bezza rated more than $75k, seems very hard to attract buyer

The premium lacks a lot of features from the advance variant..

but your theory could be right as they have withdrawn Axia advance variant from the pricelist..

Wow that sucks. With regards to the axia advance. The bezza premium and axia non-advance pricing is pretty near to the competitors (such as attrage and j3 as mentioned earlier).

Personally I feel that either the pricing have to be fantastic and/or specs/functions superior to other cars to sway people over their inherent stigma on Malaysian cars.

Perhaps a good example would be the opel astra 1.0. Good features with attractive pricing. Of course it's just based on these 2 conditions (features and pricing), not taking into account other factors yet.

If Bezza auto sells at $75K, I GRAB immediately without any hesitation.

Hi bro,

totally agreed - the selling price must be 5K lower than attrage then will attract me and potential new customers.

Lets see Premium X auto selling RM 44,800.00 / 3.12 = S$ 14,360

COE Cat A S$49,751 so car + COE = S$64,111

So selling price of S$75,800 = profit of S$ 11,689

So I think selling at S$75,800 is quite possible.  [thumbsup]

I do not think they will settle for $11k profit.. that's less than 20% gross margin..

Maybe for nice people like MCF members they can consider.

For other forum members please up the price.  [thumbsup]
