More important is suspension. Changing to better shocks or progressive springs without lowering the car will give better upgrade mileage and satisfaction. However, suspension is usually the most expensive thing. For cars still not so bad.... compared to motorcycles' shocks which can easily cost $1K for 1 shock.

"Upgrading" to bigger rim and wider tyres is not the best solution usually. Increasing the width may cause decrease in contact patch and easier to skid in the wet and corners.

175/65R14 tyres are more than sufficient. Car owners nowadays tend to have a fetish for ultra broad tyres and huge oversized rims.

Ask yourself how many horses are there beneath the Bezza’s bonnet. Are you willing to compromise power & comfort for looks of a fat arse wheels and tyres combination that fill up the gap on the wheel arch. And with that, you got to change to stiffer suspension.

You will end up with a great looking Bezza with the ride comfort of a sports car, but pick up and speed/power  of a Perodua Kelisa

How does changing springs or shock improve mileage? Very chim

The current "Improved Version" batch of Bezza incorporated upgraded Spring/Shock over the initial batches.

Hearsay it address the "floating" sensation during high speed driving..

Does it means the 4k increase is for the suspension upgrade?

Turbocharged

The exorbitant COE prices will kill this brand.

At $75K for the Bezza 1.3 auto (annnual dep $7150), many might be swayed towards a full fledged mid sized saloon like the Hyundai Elantra 1.6 auto at $82,000 (annnual dep $7600)

At that price, just go buy a Korean car lah!

What is PD thinking of?

It will sure go the way of the Dodo in the SG car market ... just like their abang, Proton!

A good article about the 5 most afforable cars in sg.

http://dollarsandsense.sg/cars-in-2017-these-are-5-cheapest-cars-you-can-buy-in-singapore-right-now/

Although both bezza and attrage got good reviews (not forgeting about the small little axia), i feel that bezza is still a little underrated based on this review.. 1) keyless entry 2) remote car boot opening 3) rear usb for charging device 4) usb, aux & bluetooth connection for music 5) dual vvti toyota 4-cyclinder engine. Think these 5 functions/ technologies are quite up to date and definately not ard in a budget car 10years ago.
