So far saw before blue, white and the clay/grey colour in real life, and red and black from this thread. Think my favourite colours are the clay colour and the red.

The clay color is the khaki color? The olive green one?

I think the Rav blue is lighter and brighter, comfort taxi blue is darker la.

More like Doraemon Blue

Not a SE ..

Regarding HU, customer can top up $3k to change to Clar* brand touch-screen LCD panel HU with reverse camera. This will be retrofitted by BM. I heard that other brands (not done by BM though) are also available for about $2k. Either way should be 1-year warranty. The only difference is that if you get the Clar* brand, you just need to drive into BM to have it checked if there's any issue with it.

Apple CarPlay licensing to be completed in June. Android Auto not supported though.

Test drove RAV4, Forester and CRV (7 seater) within the last few weeks.

Personally, I liked CRV the best in terms of its road handling and interior. Body color choices are interesting too. Its price point is higher though.

Forester has improved sound cladding and better suspension when driving over manhole covers, etc. The Eyesight cameras seem to be a point of contention as the front windshield shouldn't be covered with solar film. AD simply passed along the info along to customers from Subaru. You need to sign some sort of indemnity forms regardless. Users on another forum has tested it after installing front windshield solar firm and Eyesight camera still worked.

RAV4 handles bends very well. Smooth rides over bumps as well. Engine noise a bit loud IMO.

Cheers!

You seem to have a similar view to me on those cars. Actually my biggest problem with the Forrester is it felt gutless with its 2.0L engine. Ended up getting the CRV.

It's quite disappointing that despite it being a 3rd party HU, it still doesn't support Android Auto. That precludes 70% of smartphone users and I have to say that I like AA. It's laggy on the CRV (CRV's fault, not the phone) but it generally works well.

I have to say that if the car had an LCD HU during the motorshow, it could've swayed me to put down a refundable deposit on the Rav4. But it also just came across as a heavily compromised car because of that one omission.

It is a nice color, looks like a rugged green shade.

This one is adventure, a variant of RAV4. The one BM brings in is closest to their limited version which is the highest end model I think.

The RAV4 they use for test drive in Ubi is in urban khaki. It is a nice colour but closer look it seems abit flat and looks cheap if not maintained properly.

Are PIs bringing in the hybrid model??

Toyota just released rav4 specs for jap local market 10-Apr (https://toyota.jp/rav4/new-rav4/). I have notified the PI who is interested in bringing in hybrid model, hopefully they get it translated, fix the price, so I can get my hybrid in soon [;)]

(DO NOT PM ME. I am not a sales rep, go fb check out on their previous rav4 hybrid model post if you want to know)

Does the BM version come equipped with 7" TFT digital instrument panel and JBL speakers?

Chill, you saved on the CatB COE. Since i waited from Feb, my blood pressure shot up every 2 weeks.  [bigcry]

JDM hybrid trims do not have two tone colour. Thought I could have gotten the pearl white with black roof (just like the XSE trim in America)

Anyway, trust that you must be happy with your new drive!

[thumbsup]  [thumbsup] Steady, don't mind share photos of your ride after you get it wrapped?

Only difference from the XSE will be the bumper and side skirting; XSE is glossy black, while BM trim is matt black.
