Wearnes also offer my current ride at the PARF + COE rebate and I was like what the hell....

However manage to neg with the sales rep to offer me the same price without trade in.

S60, don't come with CD Player. 

As Car is moving towards electronics, most likely all will be using Apple Carplay or Andriod Auto or spotify for music to play in Car.

However, I am also looking at the new Skoda Superb which has a more practical boot design to suit my family usage. So I am still sitting on the sideline and will only make a decision after the CB is over for some test drive:)

 

Btw, good news to interested parties who booked the S60 in May, they just increased the price for June pricing:

Tks mate and concur on going towards Spotify and Tida for music streaming.  Will be checking out the audio system configuration once I get the car. Not sure how the audio setup and potential enhancement is like for Volvo. Have some existing speakers and amp that need to go in

That's cool to hear you have existing speakers and amp to up your current S60 music concert in Car. lol

May i ask, if changing speaker or enhance amp will void any warranty?

Had been interested in Volvo. Had test drive before the CB but on XC60. Noticed the current promotion. Had checked with SE whether Volvo Sg is going to replace with mild hybrid engine as Wearnes HK had already introduced.  Replied from her is nothing that she knows of. Well, I think it will be.

As of current, S60 and XC60 have hybrid. XC40 maybe nxt yr launch full eletric version. so i reckon late next yr Q3 or Q4 or 2020 will be S90 and XC90 to go mild hybrid in Spore?

Congrats and u sure are lucky they allow u to not trade in and still get the offer price. More often than not, trade in is a must during offer time.

I concur too, that's the last straw that made me commit to a refundable deposit to lock down this offer first and then decide again after CB period is over 🙂

 

Their margin for this promo price is really very very thin, I think the strategy is to make from the lower COE prices since the COE rebate is at $20,000.

I believe there is some support from Volvo principal for this promo, otherwise AD themselves won’t be able to do this on their own.
 

The dropping of COE prices is purely speculative n I don’t think this is a consideration when they launched their promo as afterall they are guaranteeing COE for each purchase. Anyway it’s not given that COE will drop to lower levels.

It will more likely go up a bit due to the backlog of orders collected during CB. After Aug will be anyone's guess depending on the economy on the whole.

Yes and we can see prices creeping up at the start of June already. At this price range it's still offering the best value comparing to rivals like Audi A4, BMW 3 Series and the Mercedes Benz C Class though.

I am a little concern about the Sensus infotainment though as most of the controls are done in the touch screen and many review spoke of it being a little laggy when you first start the car. Will need to fidget with it more during the test drive to check it out.

Any current owner can share if you've gotten used to the infotainment?

The infotainment for me currently does not cause me any issue, at the moment no lagging has yet to happen, fingers cross.

i heard previously maybe S90, have this lagging issue. [1st batch of infotainment launch] but seems to resolve it over the past 2-3 yrs time so the newer models with the new infotainment system should be more stable.

Inside showroom, you can try to test out the infotainment system. During test drive, will be a bit tough.

 

Overall, I have to say is more of getting use to the infotainment system than bugs issue or those who are use to having knobs or buttons to navigate. Cause the infotainment system is like an ipad Pro.

Tks mate for your feedback. Is a spare tyre provided in the boot or just a tyre repair kit that's provided ? I didn't really check out the car in detail previously hence so many questions . Lol

For mine, S60 T5 R design it comes with spare tyre. For the rest of S60 range i am not too sure. [I think should be standard for S60, no matter what series] Think no harm in asking the SE if it comes with spare tyre or not? lol

Yes, the T4 also comes with the spare tyre and kit.
