2nd bid from Kah Motor failed by 1k for CAT A. 6 bid non guaranteed COE.

 

had impression Kah would be serious with securing COE by 2nd bid. I was wrong. Regret taking up this. Would have gone for Korean cars instead. Now have to go through their wayang

U went for 6 bids non guaranteed ?

 

Do u know the definition of 6 bids non guaranteed?

For what its worth, i got my COE just on the 1st bid. Booked Renault Grand Scenic from Wearnes (6 bids NG). They were very aggressive. Saw revisions of bid 4x even if the reserve price is still above the QP (last reserve set is $34,499).

No option. Just have to wait for next round. Also better make noise to the SE.

Talk to your dealer & see if you can top-up & "convert" your package to guaranteed COE. That is if you are willing to top-up.

Is yours a Guaranteed 6 bids?  maybe they need to spread out all the orders, too popular.. which model is that?

Did TEK eventually revise its bid and finally manage to secure a COE for your Mz 6? Else, it may decide to allocate open Cat COE to you if it values your business, assuming that your car is in stock.

Unfortunately the bidding status remains at 12 noon with no last minute push

This one most FAQ in COE threads for many many years.  <_<

 

Your option is to just wait. Your SE would have told you when to expect delivery. So in-between this period, they will bid COE for you. They will also bid for others who ordered their car around the same time as you. So to avoid the risk of pushing up the COE and maximising their profits, they will bid cautiously by spreading out their bids. And some members said have to wait delivery of Jazz until January/February next year (which I think is bloody ridiculous), they have lots of time secure the COE for you.

 

But don't worry, they will make sure the deal goes thru. Meaning they won't lose the deal and pay you back deposit if really can't secure the COE. Asking for top-ups are also very very rare (mostly PI).

If your car is not here yet, Kah Motor will take their time to bid to maximise the returns.  I got my car in the 5th bid.  Like many of the bros said here, ADs usually can get the coe for you, especially when their margin per the LTA car cost is in the region of $15k to $20k which means that they have ability to bid higher for coe..

Just be patient.

Only the 2ND round.

They will bid for you.

And also the trade in value of my car was at 17k- quoted in July.

If I get the car after 3-4 bid, will they change their trade in offer ?

I think i am in the same situation as u szekt. Stock for my new ride wont come in till oct so no pt to raise the bid n secure today. Mine only bumped up to 31xxx at 315pm then that's it le Edited by hydrogenrainbow

out of curiosity, for 6 bid non-guarantee, if they don't bid for you for one round, does that round count towards the 6 bids?
