Saw a lady driving an orange one few days back. Not bad looking

The car looks good to me as well but the rear is too cramp for my liking. Real pity as this car could have good sales if the rear is abit more spacious.

I think the UX is aimed directly with the Infiniti Q30, Mercedes Benz GLA, Audi Q2 and BMW X2, which most of them has this space issue.  [laugh]

If the rear is spacious enough, NX sales would be affected  [laugh]

agree bro. if rear quarters can be like Subaru XV will be good, but maybe lexus concern is competition with NX. base version after all disc is around 140+k sounds...

I think a hybrid version will come soon at $140k+ due to the VES rebate and yes maybe cannabilising NX is a concern. The chassis is apparently shared with Toyota CHR hence cant expect it to be too spacious.

I was told the hybrid version is 10k higher than Ux200, and spec are all the same.

Does it worth the money?

I’m not sure whether u got the wrong info or I was told wrongly cos at the Motorshow, the lady giving out the brochures was saying the hybrid will be cheaper due to the VES rebate which the petrol version doesnt have.

I thought hybrid would be better value since FC will be better, its quieter and Toyota is afterall the leader in hybrid technology but just my opinion only.

freebies are pretty standard.

front camera, floor mat, tinted.

Anyone can share the best price quoted?

Must delve into the details.

Which model dashcam was given?

Some install basic model and no other model is allowed which is a bummer.

Floor mats are customised 3M or better?

Got 3M with and without logo for example.

The tint is which brand, how many years warranty and level of tint for front and rear?

Most ADs claim will fix per LTA standards.

Foudn that LEXUS margin allows them to bid up the COE and also since rebate is low, even if COE drops from current levels, buyer will not get additional savings.

Enjoy the drive!

Can be spacious if they design it like Honda freed, which is using Honda fit chassis. What might be done is just to extend it. Hybrid version likely to cost extra 12k I last heard

Ya think I got it wrong that the hybrid is cheaper when in fact its more ex!

Actually Fit is quite spacious for a small car whereas the CHR is tight but maybe can extend like what u say but then again as some bros here mentioned, they don’t want to get into NX territory.
