So strange. I donno why they want to remove that button from the driver cabin.

I see malaysia's mazda 3 BP model have the button beside the memory seat buttons.

Are you talking about the button on the key fob?

The lesser bells and whistles a car have the lower the OMV will be.

You can configure the door unlocking behaviour in the car’s infotainment settings. I set it such that when I shift to park, the doors and boot all unlock. By default you have to shut off the engine for everything to unlock.

He is not talking about unlocking but opening of the boot not via his hands on the boot's lock.

Yes, I know. That unlocking behaviour includes the boot, iirc. As far as I know, that's the only way to unlock the car boot while inside the car. Unless he means the boot opening/lifting by itself, then I can't comment since sedan doesn't have that function.

He is talking about auto opening of the boot.

I just got my car last week. Also had problem with the walk away lock, sometimes it works and sometime it doesn't. i had to turn around and check that my car is locked, if not i will just press the lock on the key fob.. haha..

anyway, the hella dr820 says that is has parking monitoring mode, but understood that it is not switched on. is it because it is connected to the car battery?

i thinking to replace the camera to hook up with an extra battery for parking monitoring. 3rd day and someone scratched my car liao. super sianz.

Close the door harder. Try to close the driver door last.

I think when u are in the car, the passenger can press the boot button themselves to open the boot.

Yes, they don't connect the dashcam 24/7 as it may damage the battery lifespan.

How do u plan to pursue the matter?

There’s really nothing that can be done for those minor scratches on the side of your door unless u park single lots or corner lots close to the pillars (even then one side is not protected). The 24/7 camera is only useful if people reverse into your car and drive off.
