Hi, just bought KR8S PRO and installed 2 weeks ago. My previous Thinkwave cam, I can read my SD card on PC but Morbella's can't. Said got error. Ask Morbella sale team, no response on how to resolve. Next is the parking mode recording can only store less than 4 hours of parking. How to have longer hours of recording store in the parking mode before it got replaced. My parking hours max is 8pm to next day 10am. Has it got to do with the SD card size? Asked Morbella sales team, they said is car battery problem. And also my new cam will also experienced auto off immediately after parking the car( engine off). Same answer from Morbella sales team ( battery's problem).

@Angrychoo
Hi Sir,
Thanks for your feedback. As our camera is recorded in a patented proprietary format, you can download a PC viewer to playback the recording video. You may download it from the link below;

http://sg.makagps.com/downloads/getDownload/203

Parking recording duration is definitely depending on the size of your current memory card and our recording size is 65MB/min and you can also adjust the storage option under "SD Card Partition" and choose your preferred storage partition as we have 3 different type of storage partition which will allow you to adjust the storage type between Drive/Event/Parking

Car battery health will deteriorate faster when your car camera is connected directly to the car battery. Hence it will be great if you can share with us via PM on the age of your car battery as we are not here to push our responsibility away and we will be more than happy to replace a new unit if your device is faulty.

Thank you

Yours Sincerely,

Hi @Marbella_SG I am having problems accessing the video footage from a minor accident as we don't remember the wifi password. Is there anyway we can reset the password without overwriting the video? Or can we access the SD card externally?

@Marbella_SG if the touch screen is out of calibration, how do I get into the settings to recalibrate the screen if I can't even touch to click it?

Hi Marbella

I had got into an accident last night, and had wanted to extract out the videos from my KR8S Pro dash cam for accident filing purposes.

However, when I plugged in my 128 Sandisk MicroSD, there were no videos recorded on it. All that is shown in the MicroSD card are some Marbella files (See image)

Is there something else that I should have done to retrieve or playback the videos? Seeking your help urgently as the potentially captured video is crucial for my filing.

Got the Marbella KR9S+ dashcam recently. Unfortunately, I didn't see enough reviews with actual footage before buying. Those footage on the product website, upon closer inspection, either shows cars directly in-front that are stationary, or roads with little traffic - I now understand why. I was deciding between Marbella KR9S+and KR8S - however, seems to me they are the same chipset - so quality wouldn't be much different.

Anyway, I will upload some photos (screenshots taken on video downloaded via the mobile app). I tried accessing the video file directly from the sd card, however, like what the earlier guy encountered, the partition cannot be found by the OS, ie. not a PC viewer problem.

My opinion is: While the video footage are sharp generally, the encoding seem to very weak in terms of capturing characters and numbers - which defeat the original intent of my purchase, which is to capture license plate numbers in case of any incidents. Anyway - potential buyers make your own judgement.
