But first, you need to check with the shop you frequent if they allow the use of Amex Plat cards on popular Rolex / PP models. Some outlets don't allow while some do. For eg, THG at Taka allows but THG at Knightbridge Malmasion does not. Best to confirm upfront if there are any changes. Next, you can consider the Plat Charge Card instead of the normal Plat Card. Nope, never heard of any fee waiver on this card regardless of spending level. The only "waiver" apparently is to get invited for Centurion, pay the Centurion joining / annual fee, then you can nominate someone to get this Charge card for free.
