Ct3833 Supersonic March 26, 2019 Share March 26, 2019 (edited) Look at this steep angle of attack, this is not a capability, it is a design flaw that may lead to a stall, and the MCAS is exactly to counter this problem. A fighter jet could do a steep angle of attack(vertical climb) because of it small size and weight plus its strong jet, but a commercial aircraft would lose its lift and plunge immediately because of its much heavier weight and much less powerful engine to weight ratio.
