government is to be blamed. PMD fire is happening at regular interval. Now almost dogs know PMD catches fire, and yet they are still not banned. The fellow who secretly hide and charge PMD at home deserves it 200%. The unfair thing is the neighbors around, they also have their home destroyed. That is unfair. Government should it ban it immediately, or one week later another HDB is going to catch fire and a few will die.... so we just sit and watch?

Why do people continue to buy from PI despite the difficulty in carry out "recall".

Should start from the roots. Prohibit the import. Classify as weaponry.  Fire can kill.

Consumers has a responsibility to buy locally approved devices.

The root is there is a market for these products.

You can ban the device. But the market is still there.

To stop it is to kill the market.

I should say all banned products have their markets.

Drugs? Big market even with death penalty.

Chewing gum? Big market too.

Firearms? The market is there.

Fake products? Big market too.

The list is non exhaustive.

If there is no market, there is no need to ban.🤐

I support licensing of cyclist.  Just like all e-bikes user needs a license.

In addition, the rule applies to children under 12 with parents (both Father and Mother) as guarantor for good behaviour.

Set a law that all seller of PMD must imprint all devices with series number. All Buyer particulars registered and submitted to LTA. Any infringement of law punishable by 10 years imprisonment and 100,000 fine.

See anyone out there still dare misbehave and abuse it uses.

Want to be like a nanny state than act likewise like a nanny!😤
