The bigger problem is, even if not relatively expensive, Sinkies dont buy much of such small cars like Smart or Mini or Dolphin. Its a hard sell IMHO. Here only 'mid size' (US standard) SUV seems to be selling.

With COE at 100k plus, Singaporeans don't see the value of buying such a small car.

After all, if you paying crazy amount for car, might as well go as big as you can afford. Singaporean mentality is always like that one.

Sat in a Geely EV sedan (idk exactly the model, it seems to be called "A PRO") - it was zippy, fast, stable, the soundproofing was excellent, and reached the airport in lightning speed...throughly impressed with EVs being used as taxis.
