Mel4fun Neutral Newbie June 16, 2002 Share June 16, 2002 BTW Guys, Since we are on this thread, may I ask some stupid questions.... *please bare with me* Does anyone wax their rims? If they do, what type of wax do you use? I don't suppose normal liquid wax is sufficient to last right? Any tips?
Turbobrick Neutral Newbie June 16, 2002 Share June 16, 2002 Hi Mel, I slap Klasse sealant on my wheels everytime I rotate my tires.....they are cheap insurance again brake dust stains and also give that extra shine to the wheels Organic waxes may not tahan the high temps experienced by wheels as much as synthetic polymer sealants. I'll recommend syn stuff like Zaino, 3M high gloss and autoglym super resin polish for wheels
Mel4fun Neutral Newbie June 16, 2002 Share June 16, 2002 Thanks TB, ok.... so how does Klasse sealant looks like.... need to stock them in my polishing asernal [] ..... liquid or solid wax ?
Turbobrick Neutral Newbie June 16, 2002 Share June 16, 2002 Klasse cleaner and sealant are German products sold in the US (I self imported), there's a thread discussing about Klasse here: http://www.mycarforum.com/forum/gforum.cgi?post=413 If U're keen you'll probably have to import them as there's no retailer carrying Klasse in SG yet.
