How do you drive when alone vs with passengers?

Just wondering... As for me, I drive defensively with passenger.. to maintain image.

 

With no one on board, I'm the crazy car you fingered recently...

I drive with my upper limbs, lower limbs, sight, hearing and brains when alone. With passengers, I drive with my upper limbs, lower limbs, sight, hearing, brains and mouth.

not exactly all out to 'chong' when no pax, but tends to be faster and more active.

It depends on who the passenger is. If its my family, I drive very carefully, and control myself when I encounter those "You-know-what type" drivers.

 

But when I am driving myself, I am myself - meaning not so good boy, but not that type of aggressive road bully. I do not think twice in horning, or pointing my fingers at my brain when side to side with the other driver, meaning to tell him "Use your blain, you just did somthing that even a 3 year old kid knows ought not to do."

i am a very responsible driver on the road, a bit impatient occasionally [laugh] but never put my passenger live in danger but once made a wrong move and we were so close to ............. with my mum-in-law in the car [sweatdrop]

my theory different.

 

got gf or mum beside = low volume music + 60m/h

 

got brother beside mi = high music + 60 to 80km/h

 

alone = super loud music + 65km/h

 

got whole bunch of 10 campmates behind = 55km/h + softmusic + lots of laughter and fear (looking out for TP most of the time)

now that music comes into the equation...the volume of the music also affects one driving speed is it ?

Right on! But when i'm alone . No lah it depends on my mood. If i'm in a relaxed mood i'll be those drivers you see on the left side of the road with the music up a norch and driving below the spd limit. If i'm in a more passive mood it'll be vise versa. Eyes would be opened wider for "you know what"

actually i love to blast music bcos it could cover the noisy engine sound of diesel engine.. ahhaha... open window feel the wind... and the music..

 

maybe a pair of 15" subs is needed

when alone only my life is in my hands - so drive to the edge at every opportunity, enjoy the car so to speak...car is also lighter so more nimble

 

when with passengers, then their lives are in my hands - so preserve & enjoy their company so to speak ...

 

actually more people makes the car more stable @ high speeds ... how ironic!
