My windscreen wiper will jerk or shudder when it sweeps across the windscreen even though it is wet or with water.

Anyone have any solution to this problem or resolve the jerking problem, do let me know ASAP, thanks!

there is 2 reasons to that..... [ol] [*]wiper rubber is damaged.....so changed the wiper [*]you applied something on your ws......what you can do is try to clean away what you have on the ws.....normally, i use tar remover on the ws to remove whatever is not right[/ol]

I have tried using the thinner to wipe the windscreen to clean away the wax but only last for a while, what is a tar remover and where can I get that?

Can cleaning the windscreen by using newspaper help?

you can try the polyglaze tar remover.......and normally, it requires a few coats to get it away. but still, i think its impt to know if is the ws or wiper thats giving problem........

did it start before or after changing? if its after it could be becoz the wiper is not installed properly

After changing, it seems ok but after sometime, the problem comes back again!

So you are saying using the tar remover to clean the windscreen? How many times do I have to apply on the windscreen and do I have to apply on the wiper?

Check with you also when you wash car, do you wash the windscreen with the car shampoo or just plain water?

it sounds like wax caught on the wiper to me. did you use the same cloth to wipe your car body(assume waxed) and windscreen?

i use the tar remover once a week.....and apply only on WS....not wiper. and i use shampoo on the ws.....btw, what kind of wiper wash do you use? water, rainx?

what i meant is the water solution that you use when you use your wiper spray, i do suspect that to be the culprit
