Hi AutoS,

I've finally got the model number of every parts except for the front speakers. I couldn't find any warranty/documents that mentioned about the front speakers and I'm reluctant to open it up. basically here is the list.

currently in car,

1) Kenwood KRC-489 (Head unit)

2) Kenwood Compact Disc Auto Changer KDC-C717

3) Kenwood KFC-6907 (Rear speakers)

impedence 4 ohms

peak power 200W

magnet 280g

parts taken out from previous car

1) Blaupunkt Quadro Amplifier BQA 120, 4 x 30W

So do you think this amplifier will help?

Thanks

KianBeng,

Rear spkrs aren't that important so I guess those Kenwoods will do. The amp I am not familiar but those. 30Watts does sound anemic and for me personally I tend to avoid anything from that B Brand. The front components however are the most critical.

so, if I were to install any amplifiers, what kind of output should I go for?

And I thought this brand was quite good?......

Generally U would be better off W/ an amp that has at least 50Watt Rms per Ch. brands and models there are so many. Depends on Ur budget and exactly how U intend to use it and of course Ur budget.

I have some new stock if U want to look see. All are chosen cuz I know I can use them W/ confidence.
