btw, any problems after hitting redline soooo often ?

 

what abt yr consumption ?

 

so far mine's only hit 6000rpm...liked the power, but u can see the petrol gauge go down pretty quickly.

 

hope to C u at meetups often.

No problems with redlining the engine.... love the sound of the engine as it goes from 4500 to 7000. No vtec wailing, but it's almost as invigorating.

 

But of course the more often I hit the redline, the faster the petrol gets sucked out of the tank. Can go as low as 6.5-7km per litre if I redline at every gearchange.

 

Can't go to the evening meetups....not since my wife's pregnancy has reached the later stages. I doubt you would see me around in the following few months after my son's born too... I guess that's the downside to "fatherhood".... less time for socialising

I remember doing 6000+ in a 1.5 auto (same version of Sunny as yours)

 

And more than 7000rpm in a Mazda 323 1.6 auto...

 

Just shift the gear to 1 or 2
